Dr. Michael Mora graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Magna Cum Laude, with a bachelors degree in Psychology in 1979, and then obtained his dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Mike completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital after dental school where he gained extensive experience in Oral Surgery and Endodontics. In 2016, Dr. Mike received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Mike is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Cheryl Mora graduated from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and obtained her dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. She received her Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2015. To earn the designation of Master in the AGD, Dr. Cheryl completed a structured and demanding set of requirements. She first became a Fellow in the AGD in 2013 by attaining 500 hours of continuing education and passing the AGD Fellowship Exam. She then completed an additional 600 hours of approved continuing education courses, including 400 hours of hands-on courses in the 17 disciplines of general dentistry. This achievement marked a significant milestone in Dr. Cheryls career, because the award demonstrates her long-term commitment to go above and beyond continuing education requirements to provide her patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and excellent patient care. In 2017, Dr. Cheryl received the AGD Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition and continues to attend over 100 hours of CE per year in all the areas of general dentistry with a concentration in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Dr. Cassie Mora went to the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana to complete her bachelor's in molecular and cellular biology. She then continued her education and received her dental degree at the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Mora was involved in the American Student Dental Association and various clubs where she volunteered in underserved communities around the city of Chicago.
