In 1984 she received her DDS from prestigious Northwestern University Dental School and started working with her father and mentor, Dr Irving Siegel in Far Rockaway NY. In 1988, she moved to Raleigh with her husband Jim Pollan and worked as an associate dentist downtown. Shortly thereafter she opened her practice at this location
Professionally, Dr Siegel has always strived to improve her dental and leadership skills. In 1997 she received her Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. After many years on the NCAGD board, she was president in 2001. She was one of the founding mothers of the North Carolina Association Women Dentist Triangle Chapter and was president in 1994 and 2017. She is currently an active member in the ADA, NCDS, the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society, and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Volunteering her time and skills she donates her time at Wake Smile Clinics, is a supporting dentist for Donated Dental Services and has attended in several MOM Clinics. New Orleans, in 2006, was her first MOM Clinic where she volunteered performing dental treatments on the victims of Katrina. Currently, she is on the board for Wake Smiles.
Since 2013 Dr Siegel has participated in the Moldova/UNC STEGH(Short Term Experience in Global Health) through the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, an educational, cultural and dental program, teaching UNC and Moldovan dental students dentistry while working on Moldovan children in need. She is currently on the Global Initiative Board and an Adjunct Professor at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Siegel loves outdoor activities- running, fishing, skiing and gardening. To keep in shape for the physicality of dentistry, weight training, indoor rock climbing and yoga has become a regular part of her life. Her quieter activities include painting and photography of which she shares on the walls at the office.

Been going to Dr Siegel for a couple of years now. She is very good at explaining whatever procedure she is doing on my teeth - as well as my children. She has a good working relationship with the orthodontist and periodontist we use. I wholeheartedly endorse her for general dentistry.

Dr Siegel has always been my idea of the best dentist I've ever had or could have: she hires excellent staff, she's gentle when she's working on you, makes herself available for emergencies and she's friendly. She's become a friend who I admire for her volunteer service to the poor and philanthropy. All that, and she's an expert skier!!

I have been going to Dr. Siegel for over 20 years and have never been disappointed! Not only is the staff very personable, they are all very professional!!! I noticed a recent review mentioned one of the staff did not have a vaccination; however, if she was wearing a mask/PPE I do not think that is a problem. After all, many people went to doctors before vaccinations were available and we trusted the use of masks and/or other PPE. Coincidentally, I have an appointment with the individual mentioned and I am not concerned.

I've been going to Dr. Siegel's practice for years now. As someone who's terribly fearful of dental practices, Dr. Siegel and her awesome staff has earned my trust. She's honest, direct, professional and timely. I don't sit around waiting for my appointment. Carrie cleans my teeth and is so nice and very gentle. Lynn is prompt at returning calls and helping with insurance questions. The office itself is clean and comfy. All and all, a gem and worth the drive in from Cary!

Nearly 20 years with Dr. Siegel and staff and wouldn't consider changing. I like that they are competent and offer service in a welcoming, yet "no frills" environment (read: super fancy office). Their focus is on the patient and doing great work; you can't go wrong!
