With our emphasis on patient comfort, we have equipped our treatment areas with everything needed to help you relax. We have blankets and pillows if youd like to snuggle down, and Bose headphones so you can listen to your favorite music. On an occasion it may be determined, through that planning, that the patient may need tissue or bone grafting. Dr. Zettler has also completed advanced training in these areas of expertise. Gum grafting is treating receding gums. Receding gums might be the result of the age of the patient, the patient suffering from periodontal disease or simply being too aggressive with their brushing techniques. Dr. Zettler prefers the Vista grafting approach, which is conservative and effective. This method repairs the gum tissue restoring the health of both the gums and the exposed teeth.
Another unique attribute of Dr. Zettler is the application of Bioclear to improve a smile. With some patients there might be too much space between several teeth affecting the perception of a healthy smile. The Bioclear method is an advanced bonding procedure. Dr. Zettler can design and apply this injection composite that has a longer life expectancy than traditional bonding and results in a healthy tooth, no gaps, and a healthy smile.
Dr. Zettler continues her quest to improve smiles by enrolling in several courses offered through the Spear Institute. These programs focus on restoring smiles and are heartfelt in their delivery. Dr. Zettler has now become a mentor through this institute helping her peers in the dental sciences. Dr. Zettler genuinely enjoys mentoring and helping others to improve their skills too. She also participated in continuing education through the Dawson Academy engaging in hands-on-training designed to clarify concepts. If that is not enough, she leads a regional study club and sits on the board of the Minnesota Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

I had my teeth cleaned today and as always Heidi did a great job. She is very thorough and answers any questions I have. Dr. Zettler is so knowledgeable and I appreciate that she uses the newest technology that gives patients a more comfortable experience at their office. I came to Cherrywoid Dental 7 years ago with genetic dental issues and periodontal disease. Dr. Zettler and her very capable team turned my troubles into victories. They told me one of the first things they notice about me are the dark circles under my eyes. They made me feel awful about myself. They also never ever told me (not even to this day) that my insurance is out of their network and doesn't cover nearly anything. I had to pay HUNDREDS more than I would have had to anywhere else.

As always, another fantastic cleaning with Heidi! By far, one of the best hygienist I've had! Was worried about a tooth sensitivity I was having, and shared with Heidi and Dr. Zettler during a routine cleaning, and left with it being addressed and no longer being an issue! Simple as that!!

Cherrywood Dental has been the perfect fit for me. I have now been a patient for 18 years. As a child I was taken to the University of Minnesota and the students worked on my teeth. All though I appreciate the cost savings my parents received, being a test subject really didn't fit with my personality. As a result I grew quite fearful of dentists. I avoided appointments and cleanings as a young adult and consequently had a lot of work to be done. The front office staff, hygienists and doctors at Cherrywood Dental have helped me work through those fears and provided me with a smile that I can be proud of. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, forthright, and talented dentist in an excellent facility with amazing staff, look no further! Dr. Zettler and the entire team at Cherrywood Dental are the best, and I know because I've been to seven different dentists in the last 10 years for various reasons. The service and care I've received at Cherrywood Dental far exceeds that of any other provider I've seen, and although it's a bit out of my way, and I pay up front and get reimbursed because they're out of network for me, it's definitely worth it. From the cleanings, fillings, and veneers they've provided me, to a root canal, TMJ guidance and fixing cracked teeth, Cherrywood Dental gets an A+ from me.
