Dr. Cherry was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. He attended Duquesne University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then moved to Philadelphia and attended the Temple University School of Dentistry where he received his D.M.D. degree in 2001. He continued his dental training for one year at Temples Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Dr. Cherry moved to Annapolis, MD in 2005 with his family. He has 3 kids-Elise, Parker, and Brady. In his spare time Dr. Cherry enjoys spending time wiht his family, playing golf, watching sports, and cooking.
When Dr. Cherry first moved to Maryland he worked on the Eastern Shore until 2015 when he opened his own practice, in Severna Park. Since then his practice has fluorished. Dr. Cherry takes pride in being a perfectionist. He wants the best for his patients, so it is provided. Dr. Cherry is a very well-rounded dentist, about 90% of the work is done for you here in the office, he only refers out when absolutely necessary.
Christy was born and raised in Maryland. Christy moved from living on the Eastern Shore to now living in Howard County with her boyfriend, Mike. Christy is a dog lover to say the least and is a proud dog mom to her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Benji. In addition to taking care of Benji, Christy enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking/baking, and going to the gym.
Christy has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since June of 2015, after graduating from University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After graduating Christy realized her passion for teaching and in addition to being Dr. Cherry's full time hygienist, she also works as a clinical instructor at University of Maryland, teaching future dental hygienists. Christy has been with Dr. Cherry since 2018. She takes great efforts in building relationships with her patients, it was one of her reasons for becoming a dental hygienist. Kirin has moved around the country for her husbands career and has obtained licensure in KY, SC, CA, and MD. Kirin and her family moved to Severna Park in 2011 and are happy to have made Maryland their new home. Kirin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and miniature poodle, Charlie. She loves traveling, gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time by the river! Kirin is also Girl Scout Leader and enjoys volunteering at her daughters school. I have been very happy and comfortable with Dr. Cherry and his office they take the time to do the job right . However this coming from a big chicken especially when I had a bad experience years back with a different dentist Dr. Cherry has taken that fear away he is the best in the business.

I love this Dentist! All hygienists and assistants are lovely, kind people. Dr. Cherry takes pride in his work and is interested in hearing my responses. I get the feeling that everyone working there is truly happy to be working there. It's a pleasant, omfortable, efficient experience, every time I get a cleaning or have a minor issue. Dr. Cherry crafted a veneer for my chipped front tooth that is a perfect match for the original It looks fantastic and has lasted years now. Highly recommend this dental office.

I went in for a broken crown. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Permanent crown came back sooner than expected! Both visits quick and painless. Staff members friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend!!
