Cherry Family Dental is an exceptional practice providing family dentistry services to the residents of South San Jose, California, and the surrounding communities. It was established in 1978 by Jeffrey Neuroth, DDS, and since July 2018 has been run and operated by Misty Henne, DMD.

Sharon started in 2000 in the dental field and earn her Certification from Everest College in 2008 where she graduated with honors. Even though Sharon is assistant she is also very knowledgeable in the Front Office as well. Sharon put to use her skill at Cherry Family Dental as Front Office Coordinator. Sharon is Married with 1 daughter, 1 son and 2 step-daughters. Sharon spends her spare time with family watching Football, hockey and baseball. Sharons Favorite Teams: SF Giants, SF 49ers, SJ Sharks.
Kristeen has been in dental since 1984. Over the years she has been an assistant but for the last few years she has moved up to the front desk as our Front Office Coordinator for Hygiene Schedule, but not limited to all aspects of dealing with the front desk. Kristeen enjoys making people laugh every chance she gets. She is Married with 2 grown children. And when Kristeen gets a chance to get away, her destinations are Disneyland & Las Vegas.
With almost 30 years experience in the dental field, Barbara joined Cherry Family Dental March 2019 and is truly thankful for having found a great team to work with every day! Her professionalism and passion for patient care exemplify what Cherry Family Dental is all about. Barb attended Brigham Young University and graduated with her Dental Hygiene Degree from Chabot College in 1994. She loves caring for patients, helping them to have positive dental experiences and creating beautiful, healthy smiles. She and her husband, Dave, have been blessed with five children, now grown and starting families of their own. She loves to spend time with her sweet family, is an avid reader, a happy eater and enjoys anything related to the beach.
Kathleen has been a Registered Dental Assistant for almost 30 years. Kathy started her career in dentistry at this office with Dr. Neworth in 1990 and stayed onboard when Dr. Henne bought the practice. Kathy and her husband Aaron have 3 grown children that they are very proud of. Kathy is an avid San Jose Sharks fan and enjoys going to games every chance she gets. If you see her at the Tank make sure to say Hello!!
Cristina Salas has been in the dental field for 16 years as an assistant. Cristina graduated from Oak grove high school in 2003. Cristina then earned her certification as a Dental Assistant in 2003 from Bryman College. Cristina has been fortunate enough to work in the Bay Area cities such as Mountain View and San Jose. After, she found an office closer to home in the south of San Jose and worked there for about 5 years. Both offices provided general private practices, and that helped Cristina to put into action the fundamentals of her Dental Assistant skills. Cristina then joined a specialist office that executed general practices and surgeries such as the extraction of wisdom teeth, implant placement and sinus lifts etc. Cristina is grateful to have had the opportunities to learn all aspects of dentistry and can now bring those sets of skills to Cherry Family Dental. Outside of work Cristina enjoys hikes, walks and jogs her dog. Cristina also enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family.

I've gone to this office for many years. I'm not always an ideal patient, but the team always makes feel welcome and helps me find ways to improve my dental hygiene. They are always on time, efficient, and SO kind. I get to select the music I want to hear during my cleaning, and they even offer Invisalign!

My appointment was for a filling, Dr Henne and her assistant were a great team and made me comfortable at all times. The doctor took her time to treat the tooth in the best possible way.

UPDATE: Continued fun and friendly service. So maybe not an update? Update, everything is still great! I switched to Cherry Family a few months ago. Best dental service I've ever had, including a much clearer explanation of some longer term issues and options to deal with them. Fun people, and professional work!

Very pleasant, the staff were very nice and helpful. The assistant were also very gentle a d made me fell relax... as did the hygienist. And overall The dr. Was very conservative with the tx. Highly recommended!!!

I am very pleased with Dr. Henne. As I near 80 I can honestly say I've been with several dentists over my life time. Dr. Henne has to rank among the best and her staff is great to work with as well. If you are looking for a great dentist and a great staff I'd highly recommend Cherry Family Dental.

No ones "loves" going to the dentist, but if you need to, Cherry Family Dental is the place to go. The staff and doctors are wonderful, know how to put a patient at ease, and do everything possible to make the dental experience as painless and pleasant as possible.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I was referred to this practice by a friend, and I'm SO glad I came here! The dentist has always been a scary experience for me. Cherry Family Dental (the staff and doctors) make the experience great! I have absolutely NO complaints! They are affordable (I'm a cash paying client) AND they have amazing staff that answer all of my questions and they treat me with respect and kindness!!! I also have to say that Cherry Family Dental is an AMAZING place for Invisalign!! All of my kids had the best experience with their program! We are SO thankful for their expertise and kind care!!! They were extremely affordable, which was really important as we had three kids to treat. Thank you so much!!!!!

Dentist offices are usually a very scary thing for me. Everyone I encountered made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I don't know if I will ever get rid of that nervousness completely when I sit in the chair but I am actually looking forward to returning and having work done. Thanks
