After seeing numerous injuries on the ice at University of Denver hockey games in 1992, Dr. Stephen Barker approached the athletic director and suggested several protocols to help the injured players. The next year, Dr. Barker and the DU athletic department formed a partnership that has lasted to this day and covers all aspects of DU athletics. Dr. Barker was excited to witness back-to-back NCAA mens hockey championships in 2004 and 2005.
In 1994, Dr. Barker was asked to be the team dentist for the IHL Denver Grizzlies. The next year, the Grizzlies won the IHL Turner Cup championship. When the NHL Colorado Avalanche came to town in 1996, Cherry Creek Family Dentistry was chosen as the team dentists.
In 2009, the trainer for the NBAs Denver Nuggets asked Dr. Barker to join their medical staff. The next year, Dr. Barker and Cherry Creek Family Dentistry were appointed team dentists for the Nuggets.
The Denver Outlaws, a Major League Lacrosse team, sought out Cherry Creek Family Dentistry as their Official Team Dentists from 2014-2017. We celebrated their 2014 MLL Championship win and even hosted the Steinfeld Trophy in the office. We look forward to this exciting opportunity to work with the coaches and players of the Denver Outlaws.
Caring for athletes and their dental health is a passion of all the doctors at Cherry Creek Family Dentistry. Dr. Barker, Dr. Svoboda and Dr. Hoover are extremely fortunate to be associated with these outstanding organizations and can be found cheering the teams on at most games.

I have to say that Cherry Creek Family Dentistry is my all time favorite Dentist Office! I have been to several great Dentistry Offices in my life. The Team at this Cherry Creek is Outstanding! My Doctor is Autumn N. Gray. Dr. Gray is Fantastic! Very caring, understanding, and highly skilled Dentist! This office is just the right size with comfortable waiting room. From the the receptionist Taylor to all the specialists to Dr. Gray this office runs like a charm! I feel privileged to have found this Awesome Dentistry Team! Feeling Blessed! Woody

This is not an ideal place to go for a full time working person. They make you book 2 separate appointments, the first one for an evaluation, and the second for the actual cleaning. At my second appointment, I did not even see the dentist. Not once, even after my teeth were cleaned. I would not recommend this dentist office, and will find another place to go in the future.

Wonderful experience at Cherry Creek Family Dentistry. Everyone was very friendly and the customer service was great. The staff was very thorough and explained everything, making sure I knew what was being done and that I was comfortable. My wife and I started going to Cherry Creek Family Dentistry over four years ago. We were so impressed with the quality of care we were provided with that we brought all three of our sons from their dentists to Cherry Creek. All three are just as happy to be here as my wife and I. This is a dental practice that truly caters to the entire family, has state of the art technology, highly skilled dentists, and is conveniently located in the heart of Cherry Creek North. Dr Gray is awesome, she built up my worn down two front teeth. The colt match and shape is perfect. She took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. Staff is very friendly as well.

Every part of Cherry Creek Family Dentistry is wonderful. Taylor is extremely efficient, kind, and respectful. I fully understood and felt a lot of compassion regarding every part of billing and insurance and understanding of when and what my appointments consist of. Liz and Dr. Gray are perfect. They both explained everything they did, were so quick and so kind about every step of the process. I'm a huge baby about dental visits and very insecure about my teeth and all three of these women make the experience easy and fun! Thank you :)

I called as a new patient, having recently moved to the Denver area. From the first phone call, every staff member was personable, communicative, and professional. There was clarity and appropriate communication leading up to my first appointment which made for a smooth visit. I have been searching for a dentist for over a year, and finally tried Cherry Creek Family Dentistry. Am very happy with this practice. I had been to two different dentists with a tooth that was bothering me, and was told by one I needed the crown on it removed and a new one placed on it, and by the second that there was nothing wrong at all. CCFD correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Everyone from the dentists to the hygienists to the receptionist have been just lovely.
