Our brand-new office is conveniently located in Cherry Creek at 155 S. Madison St. Suite #220 in Denver, near the Cherry Creek mall. We are proud to provide every patient with an extraordinary dental experience in unique spa-like atmosphere. Our office not only utilizes state of the art equipment and advanced sterilization procedures; but we provide each patient with customizable amenities such as massaging dental chairs, private treatment rooms, an assortment of refreshments, personal television entertainment and a warm spa towel with every procedure. Our caring staff, comforting doctor and soothing atmosphere give our dental office a stress-free, relaxing environment that will change the way you view going to the dentist. Our mission is to bring our patients the highest quality of dental care while exceeding your expectations.

In an effort to provide the best dental experience possible, please bring your current insurance card at time of first visit. If you dont have this card, have your current insurance information, allows us to deliver to you the best explanation of how your insruance expects to respond toward your treatment options. This will save you time and make it easier for you in the processing of your claim.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

If your previous dentist or physician has taken priordental x-rays, please have them forwarded to our office as they may be helpful in our diagnosis. Digital radiographs can be emailed to us atinfo@cherrycreekdentalspa.com. If additional films are necessary, we will inform you of the cost and they can be taken at our facility.

Radiographs are taken to show the doctor areas between the teeth and below the bone, where potential issues cannot been seen visually. Without having the radiographs, the doctor does not have all the information needed for a proper diagnosis, which could be very dangerous for the patient and lead to greater, undiscovered issues down the road.

Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that has the ability to build itself into the tooths enamel structure (the outer protective layer) which physically makes the tooth stronger, helping to prevent cavities. Fluoride is the only mineral you can topically add to the surface of the tooth to make it stronger and help prevent tooth decay.

There are lots of different ways to whiten your teeth. The technique that is right for you depends on how quickly you want it achieved and how white you want them to get. The two preferred ways we recommend in our office are with either Zoom In-Office Whitening, or custom take-home bleach trays. If you are looking to achieve several shades whiter with minimal sensitivity, we recommend using the Zoom In-Office whitening system, as we have found that during the one and a half hour visit, patients can get up to 8 shades lighter and have virtually ZERO post op sensitivity. Take home trays are included with in-office whitening and can help to maintain the results long term from in-office bleaching, but using take home trays alone can take several weeks of daily treatments to achieve the same result as the Zoom provides in only an hour.

Gum disease, or periodontal disease, is an active bacterial infection present in the small space between the gum and the tooth. It is caused by the bacteria present in the plaque, with is the soft, white material we brush and flossed off our teeth daily. When the plaque sits on the surface of the tooth long enough, it hardens and sticks to the tooth in the form of hard tarter, or calculus. The presence of the calculus makes the tooth structure rough, which then encourages more of the bacteria-filled plaque to stick to the tooth. The combination of hard spikes of calculus and irritating bacteria sitting on the tooth surface and next to the gums, causes the gums to swell up and bleed. If the bacteria sit between the gum and the tooth long enough, that chronic irritations cause the bone directly below the gum to gradually disappear. The long term effects of gum disease are bone loss and loosening of teeth, even possible loss of teeth as well as many systemic effects on the heart or diabetes patients.

Cavities are essentially holes in the teeth caused by plaque or bacteria in your mouth. The bacteria that make up the plaque in our mouths, use the sugars in food that you eat to produce acid. The acid byproduct created by these bacteria, essentially dissolve the tooth on which it sits on the surface off and eats a whole into the tooth causing a cavity. Proper brushing, a diet low in sugars, and regular visits to the dentist can help prevent cavities from forming.

When the doctor recommends treatment, it is generally to address a actively present issue, whether that be decay, a fracture, an abscess or gum disease, and therefore we generally recommend treatment to be completed as soon as possible. One thing we try to remind patients of is that we do not have a crystal ball. We recommend treatment based on what we see is happening presently, but there is a good chance that if you wait too long to take care of recommended treatment, things could get much worse. The only thing we can guarantee is that any recommended dental work will never be less expensive than it is right now.

In our office we believe in treating every patient based on their individual needs and do not base any treatment recommendations on insurance coverage. We see insurance as coupon to help pay towards any recommended treatment the patient decides to move forward with. Once we are provided with your accurate insurance information, we do our best to get an accurate insurance estimate for any desired treatment, but we always remind the patient that anything we receive from the insurance company prior to treatment is only an estimate.

We recommend fluoride to all patients, no matter their age or regardless of insurance coverage. Fluoride is scientifically proven to make the enamel stronger and help prevent cavities so we believe it is important for every patient, regardless of insurance coverage.

The BEST Dentist Office In Colorado!!! In the past, I really struggled with going to the dentist for many years. After being a regular customer for a while now I can say that I am over my fear of the dentist. Dr. Kira is great. Eric is amazing. The entire team is truly a dream team. Highly recommend.

Everyone at Cherry Creek Dental Spa is almost overwhelmingly nice. Dr. Kira made me feel like my dental goals were reasonable and manageable and was extremely energetic and kind. I have had extensive dental work in the past and well, Im not the best flosser etc., because I have a love hate relationship with my teeth. I just had a deep cleaning done and albeit very expensive, Eric is AWESOME. He had the right amount of energy for me and was just chill. He has a great personality and is obviously very skilled and knowledgeable. Eric took a lot of time with my teeth and made what could be an otherwise unpleasant experience as peasant as possible. I will definitely try to have Eric do all my cleanings. He told me yesterday that he is hoping to become a dentist and I will be rooting for him 110%. Thank you Eric, Dr. Kira and Cherry Creek Dental Spa for being kind and great at what you do!

Eric and Dr. Kiera were phenomenal. I have always had anxiety going to the dentist, but they quickly made me feel comfortable and were so personable. They always made sure to go over payment options before any extended procedures, and I never felt pushed to pay for something I didn't need. I have truly loved coming here the last year and a half.

The doctor took extra time with me. I feel very confident and trusting of the care I received. I'm a registered nurse and know expertise when I see it.

I love my dentist and thoroughly enjoy going each and every time. Not only are they punctual, efficient and great at their work - they are friendly and enjoyable to chit chat with. But wait (this is kind of like an infomercial :) ) They have Netflix, warm neck pillows, massage chairs and optional numbing mouth wash. The last one I deeply appreciate as I have this one tooth that's gets a little uncomfortable during cleaning.. the mouth wash just alleviates that little bit of discomfort and anxiety. I highly recommend Cherry Creek Dental if you want to actually enjoy the experience and have piece of mind that it was a job well done

I am so grateful for CCDS and their staff! Dr. Melissa runs a top-of-the-line dental practice. Hands down the best dentistry Denver has to offer. She is constantly going above and beyond for the comfort of her patients and has truly formed a staff who treat each other and their patients as if they are family. They all work together simultaneously, very efficiently, and are in tune with attention to every detail. Everyone I encountered carried themselves with a positive energy which made the overall experience of "going to the dentist" comforting, and not so scary. I had the best deep cleaning of my life with Meggan. She took the time to ensure she got every crevasse and polished every inch of my mouth. She was very knowledgeable about my current conditions and gave great advice for preventative care. The initial exam and three-D imaging was mind blowing. Their technology is state of the art, absolutely astounding. I will never go to another hygienist after my extraordinary experience with Meggan. I saw Dr. Kira for cosmetic bonding to my front teeth. This is a procedure I have done in the past to close a gap and have always had high anxiety over. She was very thorough with explaining what she was doing every step of the way, she was gentle with my emotions, and so caring towards my concerns. I could see her passion for perfection as she was working so diligently for the most optimal outcome. It was as if an artist was sculpting a masterpiece in my mouth. Needless-to-say she gave me my smile back and exceeded my expectations far greater than I originally ever imagined. She had a right-hand wo-man, Sanela, that was like her trusty side kick who was there without question to make the entire process very smooth and effortless. I hold CCDS in the highest regard and would recommend everyone to trust them with their smile. There is simply no other dentistry that I have ever been to that even compares. 10/10

Best dental experience I've ever had. I've been pretty lacking in dental upkeep as I didn't have insurance for many years, but i didn't experience any shaming or nagging from the employees here, just information on good practices to follow and lots of encouragement! Everyone is super friendly here and it is a such a comforting environment to be in. Happy to start coming here regularly for my dental care!

I used to hate going to the dentist until I discovered Cherry Creek Dental Spa. They make the experience so enjoyable with a free spa menu! This includes a hot hand wax, massage chair, watching netflix, etc. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would.

I have been going to Cherry Creek Dental Spa for a few years now and I have never had such good practice with my dental health. I love going in for cleanings and check ups. Dr Goodpaster, Eric and Vivian the Hygienist are fantastic and professional. Love that I can watch Netflix with a heated neck pillow, who thought a trip to the dentist would be so relaxing. Thrilled to have found such a outstanding practice.

Eric is AMAZING. Everyone was nice and helpful. I have huge anxiety about going to the dentist, and I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep during my cleaning. I'm definitely recommending The Dental Spa to my husband. UPDATE 8/26/2022: I can't figure out how to write another review since I already wrote one, but I just left another session with Eric. Hands down best experience AGAIN that I've ever had at the dentist. 5/5 stars. I drive from where I live in Castle Rock to come here twice a year because my dental anxiety is completely gone now!:)
