It is very important to me to develop a genuine trust between patients and myself. I endeavor to treat everyone with respect, kindness, and understanding. I never make a treatment recommendation that I would not make for a member of my own family.

A successful result can be achieved for all involved by learning each persons unique concerns, wants, and needs. I want more than a passing interaction with patients; I want to know people and expect friendships to develop with my patients.

Dr. Martin has quite the unique background! Originally from Alaska, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. After teaching for a few years, he completed a Master of Science degree in Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology, also from the University of Idaho. While working on his masters degree, Dr. Martin met a program alumnus who went on to become a dentist. After learning more about the dental field, he shadowed the dentist for two weeks; he applied to dental school shortly after that. Dr. Martin graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska in 2001; the rest is history!

When he is out of the office, he can be regularly found mountain or road biking. Fun Fact: he once biked 148 miles in a span of 24 hours! He also enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with his Fianc Lindsey, son Francis, and 2 pups Mowgli and Denali.

I so regret going to this dental office. They are the type of practice that will perform unnecessary procedures for extra money. If you do go here, it is absolutely 100% essential to get a second opinion before having them perform any work. You'll probably find that many dentists will tell you you need way less dental work than Cherry Creek Dental tells you.

Do not trust your dental care to this place. They placed a temporary crown that fell out within two hours. They then took two hours to call back. They did a new temporary crown the next day. I do not recall them cleaning the tooth before placing the crown. The tooth became infected within a week and I wound up with a root canal. Though the endodontist did say that 15 percent of crowns do end up requiring a root canal, he said nothing about a crown being put on a dirty tooth never causing a need for a root canal. Macy, The Cherry Creek Dental Group Office Manager, started to explain that the dirty crown was not the cause of the infection and subsequent root canal (google search to the contrary). At this point I decided not to waste any more of my time. Please do not trust this place with your teeth.

Have had dental anxiety for years--the staff at cherry creek dental are seriously amazing and have been incredibly accommodating. EDIT: Unfortunately, I am back now to edit my review from a few months ago. I had always been confident that I was getting great care here (but had mainly interacted with hygienists and the front desk). After having my last cavity filled, however, I started having toothaches. TWICE over the course of 5 months I returned to be examined by Dr Nguyen because I was in pain, and both times I was sent home with just a bite adjustment. Earlier this month, I returned for a cleaning and told the hygienist I was taking 4-6 Advil per day to manage the pain that hadn't gone away. Only then did she encourage Dr. Nguyen to make me a referral to an endodontist. No sense of urgency was expressed and I scheduled for 2 weeks out. I flew home to Boston that weekend, however, and immediately was in agony--so much so that I could not speak or open my eyes. I called the emergency line after taking 10 Advil and 300mg of Tylenol with no results, only to be told by Dr Chun Gui to keep doing that and call when I landed back in Denver on Monday. He expressed little concern for my pain and never followed up. After some persuasion, I got him to call me in a script for Tylenol with codeine. The next 24 hours I was in tears nearly the whole time. My mom finally got on the phone with my old endodontist in Boston who immediately ordered me antibiotics and scheduled an emergency root canal on a Sunday. When she got in there, she told me my entire tooth had decayed, I had a sinus infection from my tooth infection and my root was nearly dead and would have abscessed in a matter of days. There was so much damage, she was unable to finish the root canal and sent me back to Denver with the tooth packed with antibiotics. When I called on Monday to tell cherry creek what had happened, I was made to leave a message on an answering line and never heard back. I am not one to leave mean reviews. I am sure these people are good people. However, 2k dollars in emergency dental bills later, I will be transferring my care elsewhere.

Office staff either needs to be retrained on how to effectively communicate with patients or perhaps replaced altogether. I have left several messages for someone to give me a call back to discuss my account I have not received one return call. This is unacceptable!! Macy - either retrain your front desk staff how to return phone calls or replace your staff. They are making your office look unprofessional ! This is unfortunate because the dentist and her assistants were most caring !

Amanda the hygienist was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Possibly the best hygienist I've had in 50+ years of dental work, and I've had some good ones. Office staff are friendly and helpful. Doctors are uniformly excellent, and very proactive in recommending proper care and treatment.

I was referred here by my previous dentist Dr Yi with Glendale Dental Designs whom I hold in high regard. Came in for a routine cleaning & knew something was not quite right when they said they want to charge me for fluoride and a bacterial treatment not covered by routine cleaning. Then the hygienist told me I checked off a box on my questionnaire that said I am not able to have traditional cleaning, only laser cleaning, which was a complete lie since I have no idea what is laser cleaning and it's not even on the questionnaire. TotalIy confused & perplexed, I decided to stay to see what else would transpire. The hygienist said I need 18 new X-rays images & a new exam although this was conducted by Dr Yi just 6 months prior. They said they didn't have my file (weird since I was somehow in their system already) and I would not be charged for these duplicate services. I was then told my routine cleaning was not possible and I would need a deep clean. OK so now I'm there for 1 1/2 hrs (most of which was painful X-rays and unrelated non-dentistry personal questions) then escorted to the receptionist with an estimate for almost $5,000 with a 60% patient pay out. Interestingly the exams conducted on that day that I was told would not be billed and will be absorbed by Cherry Creek Dental are now included on an estimate for work to be conducted in the future although the exams were already completed. I cancelled my future appointments and will not be going back. I am left with a feeling of being upsold by a shady used car dealer and been taken advantage.

First visit after my old dentist left the business and transferred me here. After at least 10 years of cleanings every six months, with no issues, suddenly, on my first visit here I need a "deep clean" the the optional "laser cleaning" that just happens to not be covered by insurance, so now a $900 out-of-pocket punch to the gut on my first visit. Will not be back.
