Salem Orthodontist Dr. JD Miller was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He attended Sprague High School and went on to graduate from Willamette University with a degree in Biology. Dr. Miller received his DDS from the University of Southern California and then completed a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences.
Dr. Miller spent several years in practice in Southern California before finding the right practice in his hometown of Salem. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Marion Polk Dental Association. Dr. Miller is also a member of the Salem Downtown Rotary.
Spending time with family and travel are some of the activities that Dr. Miller enjoys. In his leisure time, he also plays golf and tennis. He is a dedicated fan of the Portland Timbers. Something you may not know about Dr. Miller is that he is also musically inclined, playing both acoustic and electric bass.

Meet Dr. Richard S. Teel, specialist in Orthodontics! Dr. Teel graduated from dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo and then served as an officer in the Air Force at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. He practiced dentistry in every department at the hospital on the base. In 1979, Dr. Teel continued his schooling at Oregon Health Sciences University to become an Orthodontist.
