A NYU graduate of class 2013, Dr. Cheng is married and has three children and two dogs. He enjoys dragon boat racing, golfing and long distance running. Dr. Cheng truly believes in the most up-to-date dental techniques and frequently travels for advanced specialty courses.
Born and raised in Egypt, she continued her education and graduated from VCU dental school. When not working with her patients, she enjoys table tennis, working out, and spending time with her two children.

lf you want a dentist that you can trust and low on the pain meter scale (well, in my case anyways...LOL), Dr. Cheng is your dentist! Upon walking inside, there is an air of calm, The staff are super friendly and the facilities are top-notch! I've gotten a root canal and crowns there and I must say, I'm super impressed... It's too bad I can't give it 10 s!

Cheng Dental is one of the best experiences I've ever had. He was gentle, understanding and took every precaution take sure I was comfortable. The front desk ladies were extremely generous and helpful.

I needed a root canal and the soonest I could get in was at Cheng Dental. 2 hour drive to them but was 100% worth it. Walked in to a very pleasant staff that made you feel welcome. Dentist was just as good! First time I went to a dentist and did not feel any pain through the root canal. This is odd because everyone else I have been to has a problem getting my mount numb enough that I don't feel the whole thing. Deff. recommend this place! And Thank You for the amazing visit and a new outlook on dentist!

Dr. Cheng is wonderful! I had a molar extracted and needed a crown. He got me in quickly and worked with me over months. It has been a few years and so far so good! He also worked with my dad on his dentures. Dr. Cheng is so personable and has great bedside manner. I cannot say enough good things about this practice!

Dr Cheng has been my dentist for last few years, he's the best dentist By far, he takes the time to listen to your concerns and he explains everything so you understand, Dr Chen is the only dentist that I've ever look forward to going to.

This office has wonderful staff and Dr Cheng was outstanding. The whole team is great. They have several plans, depending on your insurance situation, that are reasonable. In my case I commit to a full year which includes two cleanings, x-rays and exams for a discount. Very happy with them!

I am very pleased with my experience with Cheng Dental. I was able to get in, be assessed and a plan of treatment was dutifully laid out as well as implemented. I felt comfortable with the level of expertise and professionalism from the Dr and his staff. I would recommend ten times over.

Absolutely professional and gentle. Great music to listen to too. I'm 30w pregnant and had 2 root canals done within 2hrs, made sure I didn't feel a thing!! Thank you Dr. Cheng!!

Cheng's dental is amazing. The dentist is awesome. He is very gentle and very fast. It can be a very anxious environment as we all know sitting in the dental Chair is no fun but he makes the experience easy going. The staff esp the front desk are truly amazing and so nice. Very respectful and compassionate. I rate customer service number 1. They are great. Never have I been at the dentist and been so relax. Thank you to all the staff at Cheng's dental you truly are appreciated!!!!!!!

The best experience I've had with a dentist! I felt no pain and was comfortable the entire time, I was able to just relax while they did their work. Definitely recommend for people looking to get work done.

They are quick, fast , reliable, and very detailed oriented. This is the best dental office I have came across thus far. They are very friendly and cost efficient for things not covered by insurance they don't preform unnecessary procedures to run up a tab on you they definitely get a 5 star review in my book

If you need a root canal or wisdom teeth removal, they require you to pay $250 up front for some new scan that NO insurance covers. Two stars because the receptionist was very nice and professional and most people seem happy with this practice. But this policy makes a root canal completely inaccessible for people like me. Nothing that is so new that it's not covered by ANY insurance should be a requirement for necessary dental care.

Cheng Dental as a whole is probably the best dentist & staff that I've ever been to. Everyone is very nice and Dr. Cheng is also very nice and extremely efficient. I drive from Chesapeake to come here and it's 100% with it.

Clean office, everyone is nice from the ladies at the front to the Doctor Cheng and his dental nurses in the back. Very friendly, clean, and welcoming office. Efficient, nice and clean are my top three adjectives. Me and my family will be back!

Had a tooth emergency and could not find any place that would take a new patient in so little time. But thankfully they where able to take me in the next day and I am so thankful! Dr Cheng and his staff where amazing and they where all so nice and made the experience less nerves. Was not able to personally say thanks to Dr Cheng because he had to attend to other patients, but THANK YOU!
