Dr. Jonathan Dzingle earned his Bachelors degree and Doctorates in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. During his tenure at Michigan, Dr. Dzingle participated in head and neck cancer research looking at cytokine factors present during angiogenesis. Dr. Dzingle also designed and implemented a digital survey instrument to track and assess oral health disparities present in rural Kenya. Dr. Dzingle graduated in the top 10% of his dental class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) honors society. Following graduation, Dr. Dzingle completed a Masters in Dental Science and Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
Dr. Dzingle is an active member of organized dentistry at the national, state, and local level. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. Dzingle is a voracious learner and participates actively in many continuing education courses related to treatment delivery and efficiency. Dr. Dzingles clinical interests include management of impacted and congenitally missing teeth. He is also passionate about smile esthetics and management of complex orthodontic cases in the mixed dentition.
Outside of work, Dr. Dzingle is married to his wife, Jillian, and they have a newborn daughter, Sadie. Dr. Dzingles growing family keeps him very busy, but he still tries to make time for his passions of running, biking, and being outside! Dr. Dzingle is very proud to say that he recently completed his first half iron man and would like to train for a full iron man in the near future!

Whole new level of ignorance!! I was knocking at the door because I forgot my phone and couldn't call them. I could see the top of the girls head as I'm knocking at the door and she's blatantly ignoring me. I had to stop a complete stranger on the street and ask them if they were dial the number for me so that she would let me in to get my daughters Elastics. Absolutely and completely unprofessional. Had she bothered to raise her head she would've noticed that I had no phone in my hand to be able to call her. I'm so glad that my daughters treatments are almost done because I will never go back or recommend them to anybody.

Chelsea orthodontics has been kind, caring, helpful and understanding from the time we started our treatment there for our daughter. She was very apprehensive about going and they have put her at ease every time! Whenever I have called and needed a quick appointment they have brought us right in even on "non-patient" days. We have been extremely happy with our treatment.

I have been visiting Dr. Kwon for over two years and also I'm now in my 10th month of treatment. I couldn't be happier. The staff are kind and professional and Dr. Kwon is outstanding. I liked that he taught at UofM and had done an additional hospital residency and he seems extremely capable. He's very very thorough and advises me on things that can wait unlike previous experiences. A+ !!

I stopped by today to get my retainer cleaned and get a new case. they were closed because of lunch. However, one of the techs was walking out on her phone and pleasantly greeted me and asked me if I needed something, explained the schedule and also went back in and brought me a fresh retainer case even tho she was on lunch. Super friendly experiences there - they're always willing to help out even being a past customer who no longer goes for service! I did learn that they no longer clean retainers and was happy to be communicated to transparently.
