Parul Taneja BDS, DMD, MS graduated from Manipal University, Karnataka, India 1998 and received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. She achieved distinction during her program there in the subjects of material science, physiology, and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Taneja was also the silver medalist in Manipal University for the undergraduate orthodontic program. Being prolific writer, she held the office of editor on the Dental Student Council. She was also involved in public speaking.

Dr. Taneja did a one-year internship at the prestigious Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in New Delhi. During her internship, she was the lead speaker in the Colgate Oral Health Initiative. She was also an active participant in the yearly Pulse Polio effort of the government of India, a project aimed towards the eradication of polio.

Dr. Taneja received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2005. Her graduate degree in orthodontics is from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Taneja is a protg of Dr. Nanda, a legendary figure in the field of orthodontics. She completed Master of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University of Oklahoma in 2002.

Dr. Taneja works in private practice full time in Waltham, Chelsea, and Lynn. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the Tufts University School of Dental Sciences, director of the biomechanics course for the graduate program, and is also a guest lecturer at the pre-doctoral orthodontic program at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Taneja has authored several articles in peer review journals. She has written the chapter on inter-disciplinary care in the textbookOrthodontics Diagnosis and Management of Malocclusion and Dentofacial Deformitiespublished by Elsevier. She is a recipient of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) Ten under Ten Award in 2010. The award honors dentists who, within the first ten years of practice, have made significant contributions in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Lokesh Suri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), an associate clinical professor of orthodontics, and director of pre-doctoral orthodontics at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Suri graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College, India in 1997 and graduated as the valedictorian of the dental school class. He was the recipient of the Khurana Gold Medal as the Best Graduate in Dentistry. He then did a two-year residency program in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (A.I.I.M.S.).

Dr. Suri then moved to Boston where he joined Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2001, graduating summa cum laude and valedictorian of the dental international student class. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor society (OKU) and was awarded Outstanding Senior OKU Member, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for Excellence in Dentistry, the American Academy of Oro-facial Pain Award, the Quintessence Award, Deans Honor Roll, and Merit Scholarship. He was also the recipient of the International College of Dentists Merit Award and the Colgate Merit Award.

Dr. Suri is also a reviewer on the Editorial Board of theAmerican Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics(AJO-DO). He also served as the North East representative on the Council of Scientific Affairs (COSA) of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) from 2007-2012.

As our office manager, Ana is responsible for overseeing the entire front office and making sure each day runs smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of our doctors and patients. She finds great joy in getting to know our patients and their parents on a personal level, and loves being a part of a team that creates wonderful new smiles. Ana is an excellent professional, and were so glad to have her!

When shes not keeping our office in order, Ana attends school to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Management. She is the proud mother of two children, Isa and Nico. Her free time is spent doing karate with them and enjoying the great outdoors.

Billy is constantly fascinated by the orthodontic field, from seeing the overall positive impact orthodontic treatment has on patients to the rise in their confidence. Along with the entire team and doctors at Greater Boston Orthodontics, Billy takes pride in our office and in providing the very best patient care, whether hes going over treatment plans or assisting in the clinic. Being a part of each persons journey is exciting for him, and its even inspired him to become an orthodontist himself some day!

Betty leads our team of assistance and works alongside Drs. Taneja and Suri in the care of our patients. She also keeps up to date on OSHA standards, and manages our inventory and stocking. Of course, Betty always makes time to interact with our patients individually; if you ask her, shell tell you its the best part of the job! Bettys number-one goal is to ensure our patients comfort so they leave our office smiling!

In Bettys free time, she enjoys going to the movies. Spending time with her family, especially with her daughter Vanessa, is always a priority. Dentistry runs in Bettys family. Vanessa recently graduated from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine.

Marilyn assists our doctors with all aspects of our patients care, from taking photos and X-rays at the beginning of treatment to fabricating Essix retainers at the end. She gets to see our patients smiles transform from start to finish! Marlyn gets to know each patient on a personal level, sharing in the joy that each patient experiences when they see their smiles for the very first time. She also appreciates the opportunity to work with and learn from our wonderful doctors; shes always interested in expanding her knowledge.

Kimberly is one of our excellent chairside assistants, so shell be the one helping with adjustments and bonding, and taking records before our patients treatment. She has loved and felt passionately about Orthodontics and Dentistry since she started working in this field 7 years ago. She not only loves the opportunity to get to know the patients, but also loves to help them see how the health of their smile impacts their lives in a positive way, both functionally and cosmetically, to how it can make them feel good about themselves. You will often find her chatting excitedly about everything Orthodontics to every single patient!

Gina enjoys the hands-on interactions she has with patients, and finds fulfillment in helping them achieve a beautiful smile. She works hard each day to make sure they are comfortable and well taken care of during the course of treatment. A wonderful team player, Gina works hand-in-hand with our staff each day to provide the very best care for our patients. She is also dedicated to continuing her education and learning from the expertise of Drs. Taneja and Suri.

Fabianna loves helping our patients achieve their orthodontic goals and watching their new smiles develop. She finds it very rewarding to play a role in that process, and along the way, enjoys meeting amazing new people and developing real friendships with them. It is very important to Fabianna that each patient is comfortable and receives treatment in a fun and welcoming environment.
