Joffry completed his dental training with honors and practiced extensively in the Philippines before making his home in NY for the last 15 years. He now arranges the best dental treatment for our patients with the highest qualified surgeons and dentists, while always maintaining compassion. With further training in Europe in treatment planning in cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry, Joffry takes the patients needs and makes sure our surgical and restorative doctors deliver!
Dr. Steven Chavez, born and raised in Miami, earned a Bachelors degree in Biology at Florida International University. Dr. Chavez then attended New York University College Of Dentistry, where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
As member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Chavez is enthusiastic about continuing education and trends in the field. Passionate about providing care to those in need and giving back to his community, Dr. Chavez has actively participated in a myriad of outreach programs in U.S. communities and abroad. In the U.S., he has participated with Survivors for Torture providing comprehensive dental treatment to international survivors of torture, and has contributed to the Odyssey House Community Outreach Program, providing dental care for community members dealing with substance abuse.
Internationally, he has provided dental care to underserved communities in Kathmandu, Nepal. Now practicing in NYC, Dr. Chavez provides a wide range of treatment including veneers, dental crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, fillings, implants, and much more.
Dr. Chavez is committed to providing conscientious and exceptional care while exceeding patient expectations. He is experienced in treating adults and children alike. During his free time Dr. Chavez enjoys rock climbing and paddle boarding.
A former Interior/Architectural designer with a B.A. in Psycholgy, Dr. Monga persued her dream of becoming a Dentist by first achieving an A.A.S and a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and then a DDS from NYU College of Dentistry in NYC.

Great staff, friendly and helpful, from front desk to assistants to doctors. Happy to have them as my primary dentist. I also had a great experience receiving invisalign treatment and whitening here. Great results

I began seeing Dr. Atsen at Chelsea Dental back in June after having a break with my two front teeth. Dr. Atsen has been EXCELLENT - doing everything to help me restore my smile and feel good about my teeth again. His amazing staff - Amelia and Joe - were so kind in fitting me in. Sabrina did everything humanly possible to get my insurance appeals pushed through - a lifesaver! Yesterday I had my second to last step in the repairs, and Tanni assisted Dr. Atsen and also made things as easy as possible. Go to this location for regular care or emergencies. I visited this office recently. It was esthetically pleasing.Everything was neat and well organised.The customer service was excellent.The staff was very polite and courteous. The minute I walked in I felt so warm and comfortable. I was given the assurance that all my needs would be taken care of and whatever procedures had to be done would be pain free. My visit s were beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend this office to my family and friends. Kudos to the staff.

Dr. Atsen is incredible knowledgeable . Specializes in restorative procedures. He did an amazing work on my two front teeth. They look beautiful and so natural.Although he is very busy, Dr.Atsen is incredible patient and takes the time to answer all the concerning questions. He reassured me ,that the results will be great. Indeed they were. I am beyond pleased to have him as my dentist . Dr. Atsen is among the best dentists in New York. The Staff, at Chelsea Dental are incredible professional, kind and very accommodating.

Always a great experience every time I go in. Front desk welcomes you and are very friendly. Emilia is always kind and friendly and will always answer any questions you may have. The staff is very reliable and will explain everything if you have a question/concern.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE!!!! The staff is incredibly rude and their manager Sue is rude as well. When I call, the front desk sounds like they have an attitude. Their customer service is poor and they aren't welcoming. I don't recommend going here at all.
