As a dental hygienist, Michele provides patients with a variety of personalized treatments, including professional cleanings. She enjoys answering each patients questions, while teaching them about their treatments, as well as their home care. Michele brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Chelsea Dental Aesthetics. She is a graduate of New York City College of Technology and is certified in anesthesia administration and CPR. In addition, she has completed continuing education in Oral DNA-innovations in salivary diagnostics, nutrition and oral health, systemic diseases and oral health and clinical differential diagnosis of oral mucosal lesions. Outside of the office Michele enjoys spending time with her family, reading, home projects, dancing and traveling with family.
Yvette helps our office run smoothly and efficiently, helping to ensure patient comfort. She makes sure patients dont fall behind in their preventive care visits. She also helps coordinate the schedules of our hygienists and doctors, as well as reviewing treatment plans with our patients. She loves being part of a dedicated, caring team. Away from work, Yvette likes to spend time with her family, garden, cook and play tennis
As a dental assistant, Deon enjoys collaborating with the doctor and other members of the dental team to provide patients with personalized, advanced care. She enjoys meeting all of her patients and being an active part of their treatment process. Patients appreciate the many ways Deon ensures their comfort before, during, and after treatment. She is a graduate of Mt. Vernon Dental Assistant School. She is certified in CPR and has training in handling of blood borne pathogens and hazard communication awareness. In her spare time Deon enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling and participating in competitive sports.
Claribel enjoys working with patients one-on-one ensuring they have a comfortable dental visit and have all their questions answered. She works closely with our dental team to provide our patients with personalized, advanced care. She is a graduate of New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants and enjoys furthering her education by attending educational seminars and conventions. Claribel loves to travel and her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and daughter.
As the Patient Coordinator and Concierge extraordinaire, Cristy is the first person patients see when they walk into the office and are greeted with a warm welcome. Cristy uses her upbeat energy and personality to accommodate patients into the schedule with ease. Her dental experience as a patient coordinator has taught her to take the time to listen and ask the right questions, so patients receive the right information to make the best decisions about their dental care. Cristy is a High School football mom who loves to support her son.
Dr. Blaustein completed both his undergraduate and dentistry degrees at New York University. Following this, he completed a general practice dental residency at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Blaustein decided to continue his dental education by graduating from the world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute.
After practicing for over 38 years as a general dentistry and implantology specialist, Dr. Blaustein continues to keep up to date with the newest and most advanced technologies to help patients restore their oral health. This is evident with his impressive list of credentials, including being a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Blaustein prides himself in helping his patients achieve a million-dollar smile that enhances their confidence and self-esteem. His commitment to providing the utmost care to each patient to resolve their dental issues is evident in the fact that he continues to receive rave reviews from his patients decades after beginning to practice dentistry.

Dr Blaustein is the most capable and professional general and cosmetic dentist I have ever visited. His attention to detail is impressive. He works methodically and consistently achieves perfection. I have been a patient for Dr. Blaustein for over 20 years, I trust him immensely, had my veneers, cleanings, and all other dental treatments in his dental office. I am 100% satisfied and happy with the results and will continue getting my cleaning with the wonderful hygienist and any other treatments I need. Very grateful Dr. Blaustein is still on 23rd NYC. The staff including the doctor, and Yvette became a family to me. As I mentioned earlier this has been, and is my favorite dental place for me.

Dr Blaustein saved my smile for the upcoming holiday weekend today. One of my front teeth was falling apart and he literally formed a new tooth with assistance of Dionne for me in time for me to make it back to work on time. The tooth matches beautifully and I will be smiling big all weekend showing off my beautiful new tooth. He is an artist. It was painless. I love appointments at this office. Everyone so warm and friendly. I highly recommend this practice
