Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

I just switched dentist offices and had my first cleaning here today and it was such a lovely experience. Everyone from the front desk to the exam room was so nice and welcoming. My hygienist was Laurene who was extremely friendly and did a great job cleaning my teeth--she was gentle but thorough and talked me through each step along the way. I'm glad to have finally found an office that made me not hate going to the dentist!!!

I am extremely happy that I found Chelmsford Modern Dentistry and decided to switch to them from my previous dentist that I was with for many years. Dr. Schroff and his staff provide an outstanding, professional service whether it is a recurring procedure, such as cleaning, or procedure(s) necessary to maintain or improve oral health. In my case, on my first visit dr. Schroff reviewed my dental images and communicated his findings and recommendations in a direct, easy to understand manner. After we agreed on the immediate and longer term treatment plan, I was able to easily schedule my visits. Before my first procedure, without having to ask for it, I was presented with a clear description of the charges and the portion covered by my dental insurance! Before, during and after the procedure, dr. Schroff communicated to me on what to expect and feel. His professionalism, skills and calmness were very reassuring. The office and equipment are all state-of-the-art. I very highly recommend this practice and I am very glad I decided to switch to Chelmsford Modern Dentistry.

I hate going to the dentist. Everything from the needles, the drilling, the tastes, and the poking and prodding makes me uncomfortable. I had an emergent situation that needed to get handled so that I could function like a normal human being. Chelmsford Modern Dentistry saved me! They fit me in the same day, they were kind and compassionate the entire time, they handled my situation with beautiful technique and grace, and I have actually been back to see them twice! That's saying quite a bit considering I avoided the dentist for the last ten years! Dr. Schroff, Ron, and the entire team made me feel so comfortable and even held my hand when I was nervous. If you are looking for a dentist but you are scared, take the plunge and call. You will not regret going to Chelmsford Modern Dentistry!

Went to this dental practice for the first time today (8/23/22). I was able to set up this new patient appointment quickly and easily. I filled out the new patient forms before the visit online making it a breeze when I arrived. No problems with my insurance. Dr Schroff introduced himself before I got my X-rays. The exam was thorough and Dr Schroff was was friendly and clear in explaining my dental health. Laurene the hygienist was outstanding in her cleaning and professionally explained things to watch with my teeth. Overall the best experience I've had at a dentist in quite some time. I highly recommend them.

The best dental experience I've ever had! I've always been anxious and afraid at the dentist. Everyone in this office made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I don't have words for how great they all were. From the first phone call to make the appointment to leaving with a mouth full of gauze, everything was fantastic!

The staff are very friendly and diligent. They really take the time to explain all your charges. Laurene was my dental hygienist and she was really thorough. She took a lot of time to educate me on proper at home dental care.

Had a great experience here. Everyone is great. Dimitri took my X-rays quickly which helped reduce my discomfort since it usually hurts to get X-rays. Laurene is an amazing hygienist! She's the best I ever had and did a great job explaining proper flossing to me! She even did a thorough oral cancer exam with a laser which I had never had done before! Willie was great in explaining my insurance benefits and giving me tips to save money! And Dr.Schroff was also super patient in explaining what I needed done. They even have a Brazilian dental assistant who did my husband's X-rays and was super nice! Definitely recommend this place!

This facility is effecient and well organized. The hygienist Laurene is very skilled and delicate. The office is only a couple years old, but has strong potential for growth. I feel to have been treated well during my visits, and continue to have my bi-annual cleaning appointments.

This was my first time here and I couldn't be more glad about my decision! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was received with a warm welcome from Angela. The new patient paperwork was easy to fill out and I was able to do it on my phone. Dental Assistance Renata was kind and helped me through my X-rays. Dr. Schroff was thorough and highly educational. He walked me through everything he was doing and addressed my concerns coming up with a great treatment plan. I had my cleaning with RDH Laurene and she also was very meticulous about her cleaning. Overall great experience and I can't wait to come back for my 6mo follow up! You'll feel well taken care of here!
