Eric completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University and graduated with his dental degree from the University of Colorado Denver. He is married to his beautiful wife Candice and they have five children: Caylee (17) Caitlyn (13), Cameron (10), Camry (7), Caden (4). Candice worked for 8 years as a registered nurse and was most recently a labor and delivery nurse at the Parker Adventist Hospital. She is now staying plenty busy as a stay at home mother. Her hobbies include spending time with family, singing, sewing and arts and crafts. Caylee started playing volleyball this past year and is progressing quickly as an outside hitter. Caitlyn has been playing basketball for two years but is now taking some interest in volleyball as a defensive specialist. Cameron recently earned his blue belt in Karate as he excels in competition in his Kata form, and wants to be a ninja someday. Camry cant wait to be a mother and Caden loves to splash and play in the swimming pool.
Eric appreciates the time he gets to spend with his family. They dedicate one evening every week to share together with no distractions and typically finish the night off with a delicious dessert! He dedicates time to participate in his local church activities and service projects. Eric enjoys playing and watching most sports, particularly when it is with his children. One of his favorite activities is exploring the outdoors and camping with his family. Eric has a passion for art and enjoys helping others which are reasons he was drawn to the dental profession.
What I love most about my profession as a dental health care provider is the opportunity to help others. Although many patients have a fear of seeing the dentist, it is great to see that we have helped many patients either overcome this fear or manage it better. We always try to help our patients feel comfortable and strive to provide the best experience possible. We want to understand your needs and figure out how we can best serve you. We want our patients to feel good about their oral health and give them the confidence to always smile.
Eric has been practicing as a family, general dentist in the Highlands Ranch area since 2011. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society.
Cristina is a native to Colorado and she is an avid sports fan. She played softball through high school and is always up for playing in her local recreation leagues. She is amongst several country music aficionados in our office and loves attending concerts. She and her husband, Trent, enjoy spending time working out together, attending sporting events, and watching movies.
On the weekend shes up for trying any of the new local breweries. In the summertime she enjoys anything outdoors whether its hiking in the mountains, playing Frisbee golf with her brother or attending the opening day for the Rockies. Cristina keeps us all up to date with movie quotes and all the latest gossip in Hollywood. We are grateful for her and her organizational skills always keeping us in tip-top shape. Due to her competitive nature, she also stands as the office spike ball champion!
Tasha began dental assisting in 2012, and then in 2015 experienced the adventure of a lifetime moving to Uganda, Africa and volunteering with her husband, Andrew. After recently returning to Colorado, she found the perfect fit with Dr. Chatterleys office.
When she isnt assisting Dr. C, she is likely practicing the Micronesian language Chuukese and teaching Bible lessons in the community. She enjoys snowboarding, racquetball, and hiking, as well as jamming out on her acoustic guitar. Because Tasha greatly feared the dentist as a youth, she is gentle and eager to help anxious patients have a positive experience and see that visiting the dentist isnt scary. She excels as a team player, often jumping in to help her coworkers which we genuinely appreciate.
Melanie spent the first 10 years after high school in the childcare industry and hailed from Houston, Texas. After being lucky enough to move to Colorado, she decided to join the exciting world of Dentistry. She has her Associates degree in Occupational Safety and Health and is happy to keep things clean around here.
She and her husband, Cody, have been inseparable since 2009 and have recently bought their first home in Littleton. She enjoys being a couch potato but also loves hiking and driving through the mountains with Cody scoping out potential spots to build their future dream home. A Suzy homemaker at heart she is an avid chef/baker who loves trying out new recipes and also very much enjoys watercolor painting. She is a fur mama to one corgi dog plus three cats, and they bring her endless joy with their daily antics.
Betsy is known for her crazy, curly hair and fun, outgoing personality. Shes been a hygienist since 1999 in Colorado and Pennsylvania and has worked with Dr. Chatterley since he started practicing in 2011. A Colorado native, she enjoys all outdoor activities including hiking in the mountains, cycling, traveling and is always up for an adventure. She loves kicking back with family and friends and cheering on her daughter at soccer and basketball games. Betsy is an excellent source for good reads, and she is generous in sharing books with the office. Most importantly, she always keeps us laughing with her quick wit and humor!
Tanya has been an assistant for Dr. Chatterley for the past four years. Originally from Wyoming, she is as happy in the country as she is in the city. If you dont find her reading a book or watching a movie, she is most likely at the gym working out. Tanya and her boyfriend, Tanner, enjoy the rare spare time they have to spend together. They recently added a new puppy to their lives, Grizz. He keeps them on their toes as a fun-loving companion. Unfortunately for us, Tanya will soon be pursuing her dream of becoming a hygienist as she has been accepted to the Community College of Denvers Dental Hygiene Program. Hopefully, we will see her back in a couple years of when she is done with her program!
Kimberly is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and often shares delicious treats with the office. In the past eight years, she has run 44 marathons, in 40 states, including Boston twice. When coaxed, shell admit to winning five of them and placing amongst the top finishers in most others. Her life goal is to run a marathon in every state, and she is well on her way, with only 13 states to go!
She absolutely loves traveling to each new marathon location and exploring the U.S.The office looks forward to celebrating togetherin Hawaii as she achieves her fiftieth state!When not training in the wee hours of the morning, she spends time with her three girls and precious puppy, SnoopDoGG. She also has an elementary education degree and spent many years as a substitute at her girls school. She and her sister each have a set of twins, and a singleton and all eight girls spend tons of time together.

Ethical, Caring, Trustworthy, Patient-centered, Outstanding Dentist My family & I highly recommend Dr. Eric Chatterley & his entire staff at Family Dentistry in the Safeway shopping center! He sees our whole family (me, my husband, my kids, and my sister, too), as well as several friends now! I have seen Dr. Chatterley for the past 8 years. He is wonderful, caring, thorough, non-judgmental, and very knowledgeable. Something I frequently tell him is that he legitimately is THE BEST at giving numbing shots. He doesn't just put the numbing gel on and then wait a few seconds or even just a few minutes before doing the shot - he truly lets it set in before the shot. He's not there to "rush you through." Not once have I had any discomfort from the shot. Moreover, he constantly checks in with you while working on your teeth to make sure you're feeling ok & seeing if there's anything he can do for your comfort. I completely trust Dr. Chatterley with my care and what he says needs to be addressed. He is also always available if I have any follow-up questions or need a quick check. He fields questions about my other kids' needs even when it's a siblings appointment. Additionally, he and his staff go out of their way to be helpful - for example, I had a question about a different health issue that seemed it could impact oral health and within a matter of days I received a packet at my house with related info and research that Dr. Chatterley had taken the time to look up and his staff sent to me. Seriously, they're amazing! Dr. Chatterley has done fillings for my kiddos & not one complaint from them. No tears, no fear, no concerns - he walks them through the process and makes it as easy as possible for them. He completely understands how to approach a child and help them be as comfortable and at ease as possible. I am so very thankful to him for making the dentists office a place they feel welcome and safe, as well as never having to 'fight' over going. My kids are so at ease with Dr. Chatterley that in one instance in which one of my kids had a permanent tooth bulldozing its way through the baby tooth, causing it to crack, it was determined that the best course of action was to have Dr. Chatterley safely pull the baby tooth out. He did such a great job with her that she actually ASKS to go see him for anything tooth related - "Mom, Dr. Chatterley can totally take care of this!" (I am not kidding - best numbing shots in the business!) We all have our cleanings done at Family Dentistry as well - his dental hygienists are wonderful. They will take their time and you can let them know if you need some 'hand holding' so to speak. My kiddos have most frequently been seen by Betsy and Tanya; my kids love how personable they are and how they interact with them. Everyone genuinely makes an effort to get to know each patient. You can always count on the staff here to make you feel welcome, listened to, cared for, and your needs will be met. All of the assistants are incredible and make sure you feel the best possible during the appointment. Kimberley is also amazing! She has been so helpful with coordinating appointments and schedules, working with us to get the kids in together so we can make one trip each time & minimize school disruptions. She's also on it when it comes to insurance - for example, my insurance company sent me a letter saying they needed a copy of specific information, but I wasn't sure what exactly needed to be done overall to complete the request so I contact Kim and she said, "It's already taken care of - I sent in what they needed." It was amazing to have one thing taken off my plate because she was proactive in seeing that come across her desk and got it done herself for me! Likewise, Jill will do everything she can to figure out helping patients in any way she can! Yes, can it take time to get in and be seen, sure -- because he is THAT good, people want to be treated by him! It's truly worth the wait. Amazing dentist, an awesome staff, and a truly welcoming environment with people that genuinely care!

Hard to make appointments. I've tried a few times over the past four months to make appointments and was finally told to call after the new year. Called after the New Year and was again told they aren't taking new patients. Was also told they only take one type of dental insurance (Dental Dental Premier--which I have). But why would a dental practice only take one type of insurance? The lady on the phone seemed annoyed that I even called, which is a shame since there are 6 of us, one would think a dental practice would appreciate new business. If you're trying to find a new dentist, I recommend to go somewhere else, not worth the hassle.

I have never been in a friendlier, more efficient, more accommodating office than Dr. Eric Chatterley. Dr. Chatterley is kind, thorough and really knows his dentistry. He has helped me solve many problems with my teeth over the past few years and is always available to help. I have recommended many people to Dr. Chatterley's office and I will continue to do so. My daughter had an abscess due to a cavity and was told at another dentistry for children that I had to wait till August to remove it. I decided to get a second opinion and Dr. Chatterly and Kim made room for my daughter immediately the next day and took care of an issue that was going to cause her more trouble in a couple weeks. I'm very satisfied with his technique and how my daughter did not suspect she was getting poked with anesthesia. I'm a very happy mother and my kid is recovering well!

He not only is personable and truly cares about his patients from a relationship perspective, he is an amazing dentist. All of the hygienists are very sweet and fabulous at their craft. 5 years ago my family and I had to change dentists due to insurance and we found Dr Chatterley. That insurance change was the best thing that happened. Our whole family loves Kimberly, Dr Chatterley, Betsy and Nicole. Dr. Chatterley has been my daughter's dentist for a few years now and after seeing how his office was with my daughter I switched to him, as well. My daughter was about 3 years old when she started seeing Dr. Chatterley. Due to the way he and his staff interact with my daughter she loves going to see the tooth doctor! She has even had broken a tooth and had a couple of fillings over the years and still loves going. She still has no idea he gives her a shot, or any idea that he has a needle anywhere near her. I recently had a few cavities myself that had to be filled and he was amazing! Unfortunately, I have had my share of cavities in my life so I know what a normal dentist feels like. I honestly never felt a thing. From the shot of Novocaine to the drilling, to the filling, I didn't feel anything. He is absolutely wonderful and so is his staff! Kimberly in the front office is so nice and great to work with and so are all of the hygienists! I highly recommend Dr. Chatterley to all people of all ages! I cannot give him enough stars, 5 doesn't seem to cut it!

Dr. Chatterley and his hygienist have the most pain-free injections ever! In addition to the experience being painless, I also felt my comfort and overall experience was more important to this team than trying to see hundreds of people in a day. This office is not only friendly, but they make you feel taken care of and loved. I have had a cleaning with all three hygienists and loved them all. They are detailed in their work and have personalities that brighten your day. Dr. Chatterley's meticulous quality of work is obviously superior to other Dentists. The work I have had done has felt so nice and looks amazing. I will never go anywhere else!
