Dr. Barnes received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, minoring in Religion, from the University of Georgia in 2009. He then attended Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA where he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree in 2013. He went on to receive an Advanced Education of General Dentistry Certificate from University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2014 and then his Orthodontic Certificate from Augusta University, Augusta, GA in 2016.

He has a wife named Stephanie and enjoys traveling with family, going to the lake and attempting water sports. He loves sports of all kinds, but is a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Indianapolis Colts.

This office and it's staff are AMAZING! Dr. Barnes is absolutely the best doctor I have ever met. He and his staff go the extra mile to ensure their patients are well taken care of and see the results they are expecting from braces. Sandra went above and beyond in making sure my braces wires were adjusted whenever they needed to be. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the alignment of my teeth after my braces were removed.

This dentist is so clean and everyone is nice. They treated my child like one of their own and you even get cute little coins to get a toy after.

We love Dr. Barnes! He has done a great job, and my daughter's teeth look fabulous! I choose him because he was the only orthodontist who didn't recommend palate expansion. My daughter was older and expansion would have been both painful and more difficult.

I have gone to this Orthodontist for many years and recently got my braces off and am so happy with the results my teeth look amazing and I got them off just in time for my homecoming photos

Dr. Barns and staff have been amazing! My daughter's 8 and had to get upper braces and some other minor work and she enjoys coming every time because everyone is so friendly and professional! Dr. Barns was able to correct her issues within 12 months (won't be all cases) and we're getting braces off next month! We're so glad we found them because we won't go to anyone else...ever. Great team, great Dr., and just all around great experience!!

Well first I did not know what to expect when it came down to my son getting braces on. The staff was very friendly and helpful with me. They help me out with any questions that I need to be answered. Yes I would recommend them to my and friends and family members.
