Dr. Jasenna Johnson is a native North Carolinian. She completed her undergraduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville,Tennessee.After graduation, Dr. Johnson relocated to our nations capital where she completed her specialty training at Howard Universitys College of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics.She loves her professionandis excited to be back home!In addition to being a certified Invisalign provider, Dr. Johnson is proficientin laser therapy treatment, complex interdisciplinary cases and management of orthognathic surgery cases.Dr. Johnson is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the American Dental Association (ADA). She is also a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, Old North State Dental Society and Chatham County Chamber of Commerce.
My purpose is to grow as I learn and help as many people as possible by putting a smile on their faces. Having served as a Latin dance instructor for several years, I am bilingual in Spanish and have a lifelong love for dance. I am genuinely an easy-going person, who enjoys social outings. I have worked in the medical field for 6+ years and was previously employed with the UNC Dental Faculty Practice in Orthodontics. I am certified in dental radiology and excited to serve as Practice Manager/Treatment Coordinator for Chatham Orthodontics! My focus is to ensure our patients obtain the highest standard in orthodontic treatment.

Highly recommend! Nothing but great things to say about Dr. Johnson and her team! My son finished up his ortho tx ahead of schedule and now has a perfect smile! Thanks again to this extremely efficient and organized team!

Leaving a review for my mom (Janet Mcknight) and she wanted to shout out Rosa she was the sweetest she stuck by my niece for the whole process of fitting for braces. My niece and mom felt so comfortable, you definitely hired of of the best.

Highly recommend this team and Dr. Johnson. I have been attending this establishment for almost 2 years now. My teeth are looking great each time and it makes me feel so much better. Also Mrs. Rosa always responds to my emails in a timely manner if ever I have questions. I get a friendly reminder text and call about my next appointment and those are SO helpful. Overall the care I receive is exceptional!

Chatham Orthodontics has one of the most caring group of staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! From the time I called to make an appointment to meeting Dr. Johnson and Rosa, it was a great experience all around! Everyone was so friendly and they took time to explain everything to the patients and answer questions even though I could tell they were busy! Dr. Johnson "broke through" my teenager's shell and is so kind and impressive. You will be so pleased if you get an opportunity to go to Chatham Orthodontics!!

I have been a patient here for almost a year now, and now two of my other kids are patients too. From day one Dr. Johnson and her staff have been very nice and she explains your course of treatment upfront. They are always able to answer any questions or concerns that I have. My teeth have really straightened out a lot, and it didn't take long. We enjoy coming here.

This placed "Rocked"! They eased my daughter's dentist fears, explained everything that was happening. She needs braces.. She is lot more excited than scared thanks to this place.

34 year old woman, first time ever going into an orthodontist office, I was Terrified and really didn't know what to expect! Dr. Johnson made me feel welcomed, she educated me on the process, and made me feel confident about my choice to change my smile. She is extremely smart and she knows her specialty. You can tell by the service she gives her patients, the passion in her voice when she talks about orthodontics and, last but not least, the pride she puts into her work. Please look her up. You'll be happy you did!

I made an appointment with Chatham Orthodontist for my 6 yr old who has an underbite and grinds her teeth. The receptionist was very friendly when I called to inquire about treatment. She explained to me how my insurance would work and what my option would be. When I arrived she was very friendly and ready for us. Dr. Johnson was great, also really friendly and very thorough. She explained what she thought best and why ans gave me a plan of action. When I mentioned my concern for my other child, she made time to fit him in for an initial consult as well. Again with him she was very thorough. The office experience was friendly and welcoming without being pushy. I left feeling very good about the care of my children's teeth. I would definitely recommend this office!
