We are here to help you understand the importance of oral health, why treatment is necessary, and your insurance. We also understand that finding time to come in for treatment can be difficult so we offer treatment times all day Monday through Thursday.
Timothy Lonergan, D.M.D. is a 1980 graduate of SIU-C and 1984 graduate of SIU School of Dental Medicine. He has successfully completed many continuing education programs throughout the country. He is a member of the ADA, GV Black and Chicago Dental Societies, as well as study clubs in implants and dental practice management. After receiving his DMD, Dr. Tim and his family started his practice in January of 1985, right here in Chatham. He and his family are very grateful for the fantastic friends and patients that they have met along this journey. They are especially thankful for all of the generous referrals our patients give and appreciate each of you for your support.
Dr. Khan, originally from Canton, Michigan, received her DDS from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Detroit, Michigan. After practicing for a few years in Illinois and Ohio, she and her husband decided Chatham, IL is the perfect fit for them. Dr. Khan and Omar are excited to be back in such an amazing community. After meeting Dr. Tim, Dr. Khan chose to practice here at Chatham Dental Center because of a shared belief in providing state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive care that is tailored to fit into the lives of her patients.
Dr. Khan is currently a member of the American Dental Association. Committed to providing the best care possible for her patients, Dr. Khan completes over forty hours of continuing education per year, and has taken postdoctoral courses in prosthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery.

The staff is great but getting an appointment for just a cleaning is super hard. The hygenist doesn't work on Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays. The earliest they can do an appointment is 8 and the latest is 4:30. If you need to schedule a cleaning it is months away. I chose this dentist because of great reviews and it was a better price than my old dentist however, we may be switching back simply for ease of scheduling.

I have been coming here for years and am still happy to have Dr Lonergan and his staff handling my dental work. The staff is very professional and work at an effective pace and were even able to get me in earlier due to either other patients not coming in or finishing other patients a little quicker. They offer cleanings, bleaching, and x-rays and help with a variety of other things.

My dental hygienist, Destinee, is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to listen, she asks questions, she goes above and beyond, which is greatly appreciate. The cleanings are thorough, the hours are phenomenal, the dental center is clean, couldn't ask for anything better. Dr. Lonergan is very professional and always has a smile on his face. The front desk staff are also very welcoming. Have been going here for 5 years, have no plans of changing.

Dr. Lonergan is like no other. Always friendly and genuinely interested in your care. I have been coming to him for years and will continue to do so. He is always pleasant and offers excellent care. Their office is filled with friendly staff that always makes you feel welcome. Definitely would recommend!
