Dr. Howard Chasolen graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1991. He earned a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and a fellowship certificate in Implant Prosthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He is also the founder of The Chasolen Education & Research Center, a center focused on educating dentists around the world. Dr. Chasolen actively teaches across the country giving more than 75 hours of continuing education per year. Additionally, he is an advisor to The Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Chasolens private practice is located in Sarasota, Florida, and specializes in prosthodontics, cosmetics, implant dentistry, and the restoration of the complex interdisciplinary patient. Over his career, Dr. Chasolen has restored over 13,000 crown and bridge units, and over 5,200 implants.
My priority is to make patients feel as comfortable and secure in the knowledge that their well being and optimum overall health will always be my main concern. I am proud to be part of Dr. Chasolens exceptional team of professionals and look forward to taking care of our family of patients every day.
I was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 2009. I enjoy managing the office and I am also the Director of Chasolen Education. I love what I do and especially enjoy watching our full mouth reconstructions change lives! There is nothing more incredible than to watch a persons confidence build in the chair.
I have 2 children and I often wish I could freeze time because they are growing up so fast! In my spare time you will usually find me on the baseball fields or at my daughters swim meets. I also have a Golden Retriever named Sophie who believes she is human!
Lois has been with Dr. Chasolen since 1999 and in dentistry since 1993 after earning her Radiology and Dental Assisting degree from Manatee Technical college in 1992. Lois has been married to her high school sweetheart for 36 years and they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
In her spare time she likes to kayak and hike in the North Carolina mountains where she has a second home. It is Lois pleasure to work with each and every patient helping them understand their dental needs, the course of treatment recommended and ensuring a smooth journey during their time in treatment.
I am a Florida native born at Sarasota Memorial and raised in Venice. I have been in the dental field for over 30 years. My experience began as a dental assistant which transitioned into a front desk administrator. I am dedicated to my patients and hard working.
I am a proud mother of three children, and I also have a German Shepherd, Lexi, who is like another child. I enjoy going to the beach, boating, hiking and traveling. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I have proudly been a part of some of the most incredible complex cosmetic and full mouth reconstruction cases. I am committed to meticulous attention to detail in all I do including one of my primary roles; making provisional restorations. I love the art and science that is demanding of my job. I am married with two children. I love to attend my sons travel and school baseball games and I have been my daughters Girl Scout Leader for the past 7 years. On my time off I enjoy being involved volunteering at my childrens schools. I love art, crafts, hiking and camping.
I have had the pleasure of assisting patients for the last 10 years through their dental journey. I have experience in periodontal treatment, TMJ assessment, sleep apnea care, several surgical procedures and now I have a phenomenal teacher that equips me and expands my skills in prosthodontic care.
Being a part of changing some ones life through their smile is more rewarding then any materialistic item I can possess. When I am not helping people rehabilitate their smile, I am kayaking in the groves of Lido Beach, or training physically to be the best version of myself. I was born in New York and raised in New Jersey however, I consider myself a Floridian since anything under 70 degrees makes me cold.

Dr. Chasolen and his team are the dental version of the show Botched. They reworked a messed up implant that has plagued me for years -- and they are super nice and provide a no stress environment.

Dr. Chasolen has given me my life back! I cannot recommend him enough! 3 years ago I had my set of veneers done at a well know dental practice in Lakewood Ranch. Soon after getting them they started to pop off! This process went on for the next 3 years! They didn't have an answer why this happened other than to blame me. You can't imagine the anxiety this caused never knowing where you would be when a tooth fell out. I finally had no option but to get them replaced. After being referred to Dr. Chasolen I learned not all labs where the veneers are done are the same and not everyone who does veneers are trained the same. You REALLY do need a highly trained specialist that can create the right set for your mouth and also someone who uses a good lab to create them. I am finally able to have a meal without having to check if I still have all my teeth! Dr. Chasolen and his entire staff have been so patient and understanding through my whole process!

He is professional and understanding (I'm not the best dental patient). He uses state of the art technology and processes and has a staff that works at the same level of excellence that he does. He didn't rush the process and made sure I was happy with each stage. They did all the coordination with the oral surgeon and were very flexible with appointments. He also communicated diligently with the lab to ensure a perfect fit and look. I couldn't be happier with the results and the process of working with him and his team. I came to Dr. Chasolen with a "failure" from another dentist. Dr Chasolen was able to redo the job properly and I am delighted with the results. My teeth feel good in my mouth and they look great.
