An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This is my second visit to Chaska Commons. I broke my crown and they were able to get me in the next morning. X-rays were quick and I'll have a new crown set same day. All in all a great experience! Would recommend if you live in the Chaska area.

The lack of follow-up, the lack of transparency, and the negligence from the staff as a whole and the integrity of the company is pretty much shocking. They have one thing in mind and it is not dental care. Their specialty appears to be strategically finding ways to bill you, your dental insurance, and after claims are submitted they come around and bill you again. I was refused an itemized statement, what are they hiding ? They are dishonest. The work that they do is lacking at a professional level and if you have any issues they will blame shift and find a way for you to pay more money for their errors. I guarantee the ethics and morale are so in question and eventually this will catch up with the office. Business can't thrive on being predatory. Lastly , they want immediate payment once you decide you don't want to be a part of their financial " plan" They will than keep you on a payment plan status that keeps reporting to the credit bureau, this is after you have already paid in full. So they give you some credit damage too if you go with their plan, this is after they have been fully paid !

I went in with a tooth abscess and they told me I needed a surgeon to remove the tooth. They said it was $800 AFTER insurance and took $200 down payment. Because I was in pain and a little scared I set the appt and paid the down payment. As surgery day came closer I get nervous about the cost of a tooth extraction. I got a 2nd opinion amd paid $67!! Same insurance same supposed procedure. I never got a statement of treatment for them just wanted money. Would love my down payment back.

Used to love going here for the last five years or so. The office help was always cheerful and helpful-I love Dr. J. too, and Abby. In the last year however the office help has gone downhill...they answer your call but not friendly and very short with you. They're not good or helpful at the billing as well. Sent my husband there earlier this year, and he ends up paying way more than was quoted. So sad I'll have to find a new dentist for myself and my husband.

Very disappointed in the overall service. My name was placed on my mothers bill for no apparent reason, I'm not even a client, but only take my mother there for dentures (yet another painful/lack of service story!) and it's taking me months and many calls to them, not to me, to get this fixed. STILL NOT FIXED and no call back from the office. My advice, go some place else.

Went in for routine cleaning and I was told that I had early periodontal disease and that I needed to get scaling and root planing done. I went to a different dentist and I was was told that my teeth were perfectly healthy and this cleaning was unnecessary. Diagnosing someone with a disease they don't have is immoral and unacceptable. I will not be going back to this dentist and I want to make sure others are aware of their shady practices, other reviews on this site seem to say similar things.

Do not go here. I went in for a routine cleaning and was told I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown and root canal as soon as possible. She wanted to do the crown that same day. I have never had a crown, filling, root canal, or any other major dental work done. My teeth are overall in great condition. She provided very little information on the process and kept pushing to get started on the work. It would cost me over $2k. I got a second opinion from another dental office. They could not find any crack and said they would not recommend a crown or a root canal. They also pointed out how poor of a job the cleaning was, with stains left on my teeth. I will not be going back.
