In 2019, we celebrate 25 years of serving the Inland Northwest. When Community Health Association of Spokane opened its first 2- exam room clinic created to serve individuals without insurance, we had no idea it would growto meet such an important need in our communities.

During this time, we have gone through tremendous growth, with challenges and successes. Through it all, our focus has remained on the most important thing: our patients. As we move forward, we will continue to meet the needs of our communities by expanding access to quality health and wellness services.

CHAS Deer Park Dental Clinic | North County Dentist - General dentist in Deer Park, WA

From the beginning, we have held a strong belief that all people have the right to high-quality health care. Our goal is to remove barriers to care and provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a place that is convenient in your neighborhood, where you live, work and play all under one roof. We believe all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their situation.

CHAS Health is a non-profit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) that provides high-quality medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of ability to pay. In 2020, we served 90,461patients throughout Spokane County and the Lewis-Clark Valley. We expect to continue to grow and bring new jobs to our economy while providing a healthcare home to more people in the Inland Northwest. We are contracted with many private insurances. If you have private insurance, you will be responsible for any co-pays required by your insurance plan and any other amounts not reimbursed by them. We are also contracted with Medicare, Medicaid (including Idaho Medicaid and Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) carriers.

We will set up a time for you to meet with a Patient Resources Coordinator (PRC) who will help determine whether or not you qualify for insurance, or will establish you on our sliding fee program. If you are not able to provide proof of income for the sliding fee application or if you dont have income, you can fill out a Self-Declaration of Household Income form.

We saw the need for a charitable foundation becausedespite CHAS Healths diligent efforts for over 25 years to provide quality healthcare for everyone in our community, regardless of their ability to payour patients still suffer from gaps in healthcare coverage today.

A patient we have helped obtain insurance and general healthcare services still might not be able to afford their costs after insurance, specialist fees, or medication expenses. The CHAS Health Foundation was created to ease the remaining needs of our patients so they might achieve wellness without incurring debt or simply having to go without needed healthcare.

So disappointed. I have been going here since I was younger and I have had four cleaning appointments! They "couldn't" do it all in one so I had to schedule time off of work- well I couldn't take the whole day off and I had to wait 30 mins AFTER my appointment time which completely messes up my work schedule. Why even schedule ME if you CANT make your own appointment

I cannot express what a positive experience I had on 01/28 with Dr Singh, the patient care coordinator, Amanda and the wonderful gals at the front desk!! I had absolutely DREADED the dentist for YEARS...to the point where I have had nightmares and constant anxiety causing me to push off my appts for years. I felt anxious and embarrassed and Dr Signh IMMEDIATELY put my mind at ease. He very clearly explained the game plan, gave me a deeper understanding of the role gums play in our oral health. Dr Singh was gentle, very concerned with my comfort level and set realistic expectations for my dental plan. Amanda was wonderful as well in explaining the costs, my coverage and helped in mapping out a financial plan for my care. She even shared some experiences she had and recommended a couple of places for dental implants and services not offered at the clinic. The front desk ladies were super friendly, patient and greeted me with friendly banter. My expectations were blown out of the water and from start to finish, my experience was absolutely incredible! I can't thank you all enough for making such a dreaded appointment an absolutely pleasure!! Thank you all :)

So unorganized. This place is a joke. They didn't tell me beforehand that my root canal would be split into multiple appointments, and then when I show up for my second appointment, apparently I was supposed to get a cleaning done ahead of time, which again nobody told me. They told me it was "on my care plan" but every time I come I learn new information about my care plan that they neglected to tell me. This place is a joke. I'm switching to a different office ASAP, I suggest you do the same if you can. Everyone's really nice, but that's about all they have going for them.

Made an appointment in early December. My appointment rolled around mid January and a windstorm knocked out the power which forced them to reschedule me to mid March. Which was fine. The weather is out of their control. But come March. 2 days before my appointment they canceled my appointment because "scheduling conflicts". They gave no reason and the soonest available time is April 20th. To chas Dont reply with I'm sorry call this number for help. I'm not interested, just take the bad review and move on

I have a severe heart blockage and need a operation. In order to have the operation as standard procedure I went to this dental clinic to have them verify that I do not have any active dental infection at this time. Although I don't have an active infection at this time the dentist insist that I must have 2 cavities filled. 2 broken teeth pulled and a cleaning before he will sign the verification. This is the only thing holding up my operation so they have me over a barrel. My only options are to pay them for these unnecessary procedures or postpone the operation until I can get in to see another dentist.
