In 2019, we celebrate 25 years of serving the Inland Northwest. When Community Health Association of Spokane opened its first 2- exam room clinic created to serve individuals without insurance, we had no idea it would growto meet such an important need in our communities.

During this time, we have gone through tremendous growth, with challenges and successes. Through it all, our focus has remained on the most important thing: our patients. As we move forward, we will continue to meet the needs of our communities by expanding access to quality health and wellness services.

CHAS Clarkston Dental Clinic | Lewis & Clark Dentist - General dentist in Clarkston, WA

Our goal is to remove barriers to care and provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a place that is convenient in your neighborhood, where you live, work and play all under one roof. We believe all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their situation.

CHAS Health is a non-profit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) that provides high-quality medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of ability to pay. In 2020, we served 90,461patients throughout Spokane County and the Lewis-Clark Valley. We will set up a time for you to meet with a Patient Resources Coordinator (PRC) who will help determine whether or not you qualify for insurance, or will establish you on our sliding fee program. We saw the need for a charitable foundation becausedespite CHAS Healths diligent efforts for over 25 years to provide quality healthcare for everyone in our community, regardless of their ability to payour patients still suffer from gaps in healthcare coverage today.

A patient we have helped obtain insurance and general healthcare services still might not be able to afford their costs after insurance, specialist fees, or medication expenses. The CHAS Health Foundation was created to ease the remaining needs of our patients so they might achieve wellness without incurring debt or simply having to go without needed healthcare.

Several months ago I went to chas to have 2 specific teeth fixed. 4 visits later and STILL NOT fixed. I complained and made today's appointment specifying exactly what I wanted done yet again. Today: After they were done I looked and they did the wrong tooth! I asked what they did and was told that the tooth they fixed was in the order they wanted fixed. I made yet another appt to fix 1 of the 2 teeth I want fixed. I have NEVER had a dentist blatantly ignore what the patient asks them to do. It blows my mind. I'm speaking with my insurance company.

I asked for the hygienist Joseph to come get me after the xrays he was doing on my son so I could be there for his exam and he completely disregarded me and never came to get me I had to ask the front desk staff to get back in the room with him by that time my son had already had his xrays and exam and I never got to speak with the dentist this isn't the first time I've had issues with the same hygienist he needs to listen to the parents and not do things as he wishes on his own

I wasted 3 years trying to get them to do a few filings which they still refuse to do even though my insurance agreed to pay the $3,800 bill. I'm in so much pain but they wont work on my teeth. The very angry racist dentist there can't even tell a good tooth from a tooth with a huge cavity. I've been yelled at multiple times buy the staff. This is a horrible place i don't understating why they kept leading me on for 3 years when they had no intention of fixing my teeth I'm still in so much pain. Avoid this place at all cost is not worth it they are so mean and rude. They seem to enjoy making people suffer. On previous reviews I've left their Clinic administrator will leave a comment saying to contact them to discuss my bad experience but every time I tried to call that person they're never available because they don't actually care.

My experience both times I've been to this dentist were professional, courteous, and work done in a timely manner. I am very pleased by the end results and recommend them.

Personally I think they do an initial visit professionally and diligently. If you consider their contribution to the community and those without dental coverage and or limited income, you might agree their invaluable. Sure you have to wait, but You waited this long to seek help irregardless of the personal circumstances. My experience being somewhat limited dictates give them a chance. For what it's worth ..Stephen L.

Horrible with children. I definitely do not recommend. Funny how they can redo their brand new office 50 times but can't get some laughing gas for kiddos. Dentists are very inexperienced. I really miss Chief Joseph dentistry.

If you have a medical exemption keeping you from wearing a mask. Don't come here. They will not treat you. When you do wear a mask because you NEED the treatment the front desk lady rolls her eyes as she checks you in as you struggle with your medical condition. My 10yo son had to ask if I was ok and if I needed to sit down b/c of medical condition. Again as the front desk lady rolled her eyes. I will for sure be reaching out to the higher ups but just a heads up!

I had good experience for the first time patient I went in February 2021 but the only thing I have to say that i didn't like is that I have to have a root canal and that I have to wait a month even though they knew I was in pain before the appointment the pain calmed down when I went to the appointment but now it bothers me from time to time but with being said I am glad that it's not this week cause post to be snow storm now I have to wait tell the weather gets better since I am out of town. All in all very good visit.

I do not recommend this clinic if you are having dental pain or a tooth that needs immediate care/treatment. My recent visit was because 1/4 of my back lower molar had broken off. It was on a Friday and I live 40 minutes away. This "emergency" appointment that I had after calling at 7:30 a.m. was a complete waste of time. Dentist smoothed off the rough edges that were irritating my tongue and cheek and told me to schedule a follow-up appointment at the front desk. No pain medication or antibiotics were prescribed. The soonest they scheduled me was for August 13 and the scheduler had little to no sympathy or empathy for my situation. I was able to reach another dentist at another clinic Sunday evening. He saw me at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning and gave me the proper care that I needed.

There is no reason my children need to be taken back by a new staff member without me going with them. These people change staff like they change there underwear!!!! Then I ask to speak to the manager and the manager won't even speak to me like are you kidding me! I have been back everytime my children go back to get anything done!

Gossip loudly. Negative environment. Most staff is apathetic and rude. Very unprofessional place and I no longer trust them with my children or my own teeth. The shorter dentist could use some work on bedside manners and the whole team could work on how they treat each other and us patients.

I am in the middle of a medical emergency. My teeth need to be perfect before I can begin treatment. The entire staff at CHAS bent over backwards getting me scheduled and getting me treated. Thanks to you all.
