Dr. Michelle Yuching Chou is a Diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics and faculty member in Developmental Biology and Orthodontics at Harvard University. She received her dental degree from New York University, where she graduated with honors in orthodontics and in research. She was also bestowed with the FD Weiss Certificate for highest scholastic achievement, the Botkin Memorial Award for outstanding achievements in orthodontics, and the Rudner Memorial Award for superior performance in comprehensive clinical care. Dr. Chou was also inducted into the National Dental Honor Society (OKU). Dr. Chou also received a Masters of Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, and accomplished postdoctoral orthodontic specialty training and received Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard University.
Dr. Chou is passionate about scientific research and dental education. She presented her research results at the 2012 and 2015 American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session, the 2012 Symposium in Translational Orthodontic Research, and 2015 IADR/AADR General Session. Her research work has led to several publications and invited lectures. One of her recent publications has featured on the cover of American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and was selected as the Article of the Month by the Journal. Dr. Chou has been involved with academic instruction of residents and dental students at both NYU and Harvard. In addition to her passion for orthodontics, science and teaching, Dr. Chou is an accomplished classical pianist and orchestra conductor.

Dr. Chou and her team are professional and amazing! They provided clear and thorough explanation about my daughter's orthodontic requirements, steps, future needs as well as expected medical expense. Dr. Chou is very patient, friendly, and gentle. Every visit, she explained the progress and answered all our questions. We are happy and satisfied with the orthodontic treatment. Dr. Chou and her team are hands down the best in New England! I'm a dentist myself, and Dr. Chou is the only orthodontist I trust for my own treatment. She not only has a magnetic personality, but also makes sure that every single one of your needs get addressed to perfection. If you are in the field, you will know that Dr. Chou's skill is in the top 0.001% among her peers. She can achieve results that others deem impossible. For example, she not only can close up a space of a molar, but also can push a partially impacted third molar to the dental arch. She has helped so many patients including me to expand dental arches (both upper and lower) and achieve a broad smile. Dr. Chou is also an expert in minimally invasive orthodontics- she really knows how to avoid extractions and orthognathic surgeries to the maximal extent. Very nice staff in the office. Dr. Chou is very knowledgeable and has excellent skill technically. She and her staff know how to take care of kids. Orthodontics is not an easy journey, having a caring group around can make a journey less painful.

Dr Chou and her staff were wonderful to work with for our son's partial braces. She answered my questions thoroughly, was gentle with my child, and took pictures of his progress along the way. When his braces came off, Dr Chou gave us a packet with before/after pictures and other information. Also had a fun little gift for my son to celebrate getting his braces off. Dr Chou was very professional, friendly, and knowledgable. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Chou is amazing. She approaches our children's orthodontic plans thoughtfully and with great care. She is a master of the science and art of orthodontics, and it has been amazing to see the changes her work has made for our kids. You will know you are in expert hands the moment you meet her. Staff are competent, friendly and helpful. We couldn't be more pleased.

We love Dr. Mingchun Chien! We have been happily going to see her for over a decade. Our children have grown up with her as their dentist and we are very pleased with every level of interaction, from the friendly front office staff, to the gentle hygienist, and finally the great communication with Dr. Chien. Highly recommended! Dr. Chou is professional and patient, and she always gives a response quickly. My younger son used to be scared of dentists and was freaked out whenever we were going.
