You will be greeted and cared for by a caring and knowledgeable staff. Many of our employees have been with us for 20 plus years and have attended numerous continuing education courses. Their first concern is your comfort.
Our front office team will be your first contact with us. They will assist you in scheduling and answer any questions that you may have. Upon your arrival, they will greet you and make sure you are comfortable.
One of our team of five hygienists will develop an individualized program for you. This will depend upon the findings of your initial exam. You will be treated to a thorough and professional experience.
We begin our partnership with patients by listening. Our goal is to increase the knowledge and dental awareness of every new patient, giving them the information that results in confident and assured treatment decisions. It is important to understand what each patient desires for their dental care.
We conduct a very thorough adult examination lasting 60-90 minutes, giving us time to get to know each other. During the initial examination we take necessary X-rays, video pictures, perform an exam of all the teeth, jaw joints, soft tissue and conduct an oral cancer exam. This is the first step in our partnership with you toward achieving and maintaining your dental health.
Charlottesville Dental Health Partners has always been an alternative source for patient-centered, high quality guaranteed dental care. We feel all patients, with or without dental insurance should be treated the same. We do not limit the treatment choices that may be appropriate based upon dental insurance company decisions.
Dental insurance is not like medical insurance. It does not provide unlimited quality care above a certain out-of-pocket cost. In fact, because of the insurance companys constraints about the types and number of treatments per calendar year, dental insurance is more akin to a dental coupon (with small print limits and exclusions). Dental insurance is a nice benefit each year that is helpful but it should never dictate treatment.
Charlottesville Dental Health Partners submits information to all insurance companies using electronic claims and proper documentation to expedite insurance reimbursement. We partner with you to maximize your benefits and minimize your dealings with the insurance company.
