Dr. Jonathan Eshleman grew up in Raleigh, NC, the oldest of three children and the son of an engineer. He was drawn to a career in health care as early as first grade. This, along with a love of working with his hands, appreciation for the artistic aspect of dentistry, and a desire to serve people, made dentistry a perfect career choice.

Dr. Eshleman completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in economics. He received his DDS from the UNC School of Dentistry. After graduating in 1995, he moved to Charlotte with his wife, Kristen, and began working for Charlotte Dentistry. He is now a partner.

With a sincere compassion for his patients and a passion for quality care, Dr. Eshleman takes seriously his call to serve his patients and considers it a vital part of his relationship with God. Quiet and thoughtful, he brings a calming spirit to the patients he serves. He is inspired by Pauls charge to the Thessalonians: Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more, and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders (1 Thes. 4:9-12). Together with the team at Charlotte Dentistry, it is Dr. Eshlemans hearts desire that patients feel served, cared for, and welcomed as honored guests.

Outside of work, Dr. Eshleman loves spending time with his wife of 20-plus years and three children. He serves as a volunteer in the worship ministry at Church at Charlotte and is on the Board of Trustees at Charlotte Christian School. He enjoys acoustic guitar, photography, grilling out, and running. His family loves to vacation on the NC beaches and spend time together riding bikes, swimming, kayaking, and playing games.

As a boy growing up in Fayetteville, NC, Dr. Chris Watson had a very close relationship with his grandfather, a dentist himself, who introduced him to the profession. When it came time for college, he decided to become a dentist. Coupled with his strong compassion for people, he knew it would be a career where he could make a difference and use his artistic talents.

Dr. Watson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Florida State University. He returned to UNC and completed his DDS degree. While at UNC, Dr. Watson participated in a hospital internship at the University of Virginia. He joined Charlotte Dentistry in 2000.

He is a certified top 1 percent Invisalign practitioner for all of North America and has been a Diamond Plus Provider of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen since 2007. He was named one of Charlotte Magazines Top Dentists in 2019.

At his church, Dr. Watson has served on the Marriage Ministry Board. He is currently active with the Pregnancy Resource Center, the Bless Back Worldwide Missionary Group, and a Home Group as a leader. He serves on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Metro Board as chairman and regional board member.

Dr. Watson and his wife have four energetic young daughters, and both parents have taken on the responsibility of homeschooling. Each day includes prayer, smiles, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment for them all. Dr. Watson is a very hands-on father and devoted husband, making time for long family walks and other group activities. Hes an avid golfer and tennis player and likes to vacation in Pinehurst and on Kiawah Island. This gives him the chance to enjoy his favorite games plus get in more quality family time.

Dr. Eric Wolfinger grew up in Massillon, OH and attended Brown University for his undergraduate studies. A premed student, he did a career shadow with a dentist after receiving a root canal from him and decided to become a dentist instead. He went on to graduate from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, then served as resident at the Carolinas Medical Center. He has been with Charlotte Dentistry full time since 2000 and has a passion for dentistry. He is currently working on Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Wolfinger is married with two sons and one daughter. He attends St. Gabriels Catholic Church and supports the athletic programs of Providence Day and Holy Trinity School. He enjoys spending time with his family and their dog, Ryder. His interests include golf, scuba diving, coaching, and travel.
