I'm giving this place a three because I originally thought it was a 5 till I came time for my wisdoms to heal. My bottom right kept having issues and I told the surgeon who performed the removal that it keeps swelling with a lot of pain just for them to tell me it was because of food being in the pocket. I knew he still had no idea what he was talking about because when I went home the pain was unbearable and I started digging in that gum area to find A CHIP PIECE OF TOOTH LEFT IN THE REMOVAL AREA. That's not my job. If I want to do that I would've took all my wisdoms out and not pay another person.

This review is on behalf of my husband and my toddler. I am thrilled with doctors, nurses, and other staff that can provide pleasant, friendly, and accurate information that ensures the situation is not as worse as my current child's dentist providers, have done. This clinic, Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery, made my husband and child feel valuable and considering she is only 2 years old, the doctor was able to give the best advice based on his own experience with his children. I'm so happy to know that for the well being and safety of my toddler, she doesn't have to experience a traumatic dental ordeal just because other providers jumped to conclusions without gathering the facts surrounding my daughters particular dental problem. She's a toddler, therefore, her teeth will fall out naturally in a few years, so let nature take its course but continue to monitor her; was the best advice given! If her teeth need to be pulled then it's a simple and painless procedure but if not, then they will come out on their own and surgery does not need to be the first option that many doctors like to jump to! It was also not recommended putting her completely under anesthesia to pull 2 teeth! She is too young and has never had anesthesia and Id never want to take that chance with her. For this I highly recommend Dr. Oliphant!

First time visiting the office. We felt welcomed, well informed and eager to work with the doctor and staff. Most importantly we didn't feel like a "number", to be serviced and sent our way. Looking forward to continue working with you to meet our dental needs.

The teeth work went fine, the customer service was terrible. They didn't inform the patient of the requirements to maintain a driver on site until after the driver had already left (38 minutes after the start of the appointment). They made last minute changes to the scheduled procedure causing more to money to he owed. The response was it was the same amount because it was the same percentage owed and the receptionist didn't understand simple math (a percentage of a higher amount means more is owed). They were already behind schedule then refused to start until the driver had made it back. (I also has 2 toddlers who'd just made it to a place they wanted to go and didn't even get to walk in)
