I grew up in the West Suburbs of Chicago in the town of Wheaton and moved to Edwardsville, IL while in High School. After graduation, I attended Washington University to complete my undergrad. In 2005 I furthered my studies at Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine.

My path to dentistry started with a spring break trip my Junior year of college. It was a mission trip to do construction in Honduras. During that week, I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to help in a clinic with physicians and dentist for a day. It was that day that I fell in love with short term medical and dental trips. I went on several more mission trips over the next couple of years, which helped guide my decision into dentistry.

Dentistry is one of those things that many people are afraid to have done. I strive to put my patients concerns and well-being as my primary focus and hope to provide a calming, comforting environment for patients. Being able to restore and help maintain a healthy mouth for every patient is a goal of everyone in our office.

They made my dentist experience great. I was scared going in but came out with a smile.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I highly do not recommend applying at this place. I applied here at some point in 2019 for a position as a dental assistant and didn't get an email back until mid January 2020. They didn't even actually call me. I got to my interview and waited in the waiting room for quite a while before getting interviewed finally in a loud, sketchy storage room. I was told by Cari Flood that I got the job and she asked when I was able to start. I told her I would have to put my two weeks in at my current job, but I would call her as soon as I did. I took her email and was told to call the office, and she took down my email and phone number and we said we would be in touch. I put in my two weeks the following Tuesday when I finally saw my boss again after the weekend and being off on Monday and called her immediately. She didn't answer so the secretary left her a message (supposedly) and she was supposed to call me back and never did. This went on for two weeks. I emailed her too. She never got back to me. If my current boss hadn't let me keep my job with them, I would be out of a job. Cari led me to believe I was hired with them and let me put my two weeks in, and then avoided me for two weeks in! This time I got lucky but I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!!

I have been terrified of the dentist since a very young age. This was my first encounter with this dental office and I have NEVER been so pleased with the results. I highly recommend.

First of all I would like to say that anyone that knows me knows I am scared of the dentist so with that being said I want to say that Dr. Blake and his staff were AWESOME. I had a chipped tooth and needed it fixed. I got in there and they all were very nice and when Dr. Blake came in he made me feel comfortable right off. Showed me my Xray and explained to me what he could do and instantly just said let's do this. I thought I would be there for a couple hours getting the work done and I was only there a bit. He ended up fixing a couple cavities and fixing a couple chips I believe. I can't wait to see my smile as soon as the numbness goes away. When he was done he showed me and gave me a high five. I was ready to have to pay a lot of money and it was very reasonable. I loved the way I felt leaving there knowing my smile will be better. Thank you Dr. Blake! I will be back!
