great office, great machines, great staff, etc. just a huge bummer that they charge $15 for sanitization fee for EACH visit, claiming it's because of pandemic and inflation. I've been to 2 other offices from 07/2021 to 12/2021, and have other friends in the dental field. No other offices charge this fee.

Very Gentle Dentists I have never been seen by a dentist with more attention to patient comfort as I have here. Dr. Madani and Dr. Ramirez are wonderful! Luba also always does a great job I leave feeling like I had a thorough cleaning.

I did not have a good experience, I told that I would like to make a cleaning on my teeth... my insurance pays 100% but I payed 15$ plus 127$ and the cleaning was not made. Yes I signed millions papers and they are right! In my case was supposed to for free but nothing done and a bill to pay. On my view is not a place who cares about the costumer, but only money! I'll never recommend this place.

Staff were very pushy to get tests and procedures done despite me being healthy. Also gave me wrong information about payments.

They are very shady. Will say things are covered by your insurance then send you a bill for everything they said was covered years later and sue you if you don't pay. They seem nice, but go at your own risk.

The best experience I've ever had at a dentist. They somehow managed to make it an anxiety-FREE visit

I honestly cannot say ENOUGH great things about the team at Charles Street Dental! Everyone is extremely friendly and the office is always extremely clean and nice. I have been seeing that team now for a year, and whether it's just a cleaning or something larger like fillings I have always left feeling great. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, and talk through any questions that you might have or even just explain the procedure as they are going along. Seriously, every single person in this office is an angel. When I had my initial new patient consultation they explained what work I was going to need and the ENTIRE plan to work with, so there has never been a surprise for me. Even the front desk is extremely wonderful because they always answer any billing or cost questions that I might have, and are willing to give me estimates any time that I have asked. I have never been surprised to know what I'm being charged either. I do not think that I will ever be going anywhere else.

I didn't find them honest. They exaggerate and fudge to get more $. During my first visit I was told I needed a cleaning procedure not covered by insurance & would have to schedule 2 subsequent visits due to the poor shape of my teeth. I brush 3 times a day & floss daily, never had any problems. They put on a show while cleaning - are you alright? it'll be over soon, hang in there, etc, though nothing was painful at all. They wanted me to come back that afternoon, and that was odd. Why would a dentist turn a routine cleaning into 3 visits not covered by insurance? I told them their scheduling was unusual & the receptionist got an attitude. I found someone else a year later & they said I took great care of my teeth.

This is one of the most professional dental establishments I have had experience with. And I have been at great dental practices in the west coast and east coast both. The dentist at Charles street dental takes a wholistic approach towards her profession. Consider the medical and mental state of the patient as well as dental health. She loves her profession and her patients. Very unusual. Dr. Roya Madani is a gift to her patients .

Please don't go here for your dental needs. Complete scam artists. I was told I had "3 micro cavities" and that I had to come back to fix them. I had blue cross blue shield, but then I lost my job and my insurance. I came back to get my night guard fitted and when I mentioned the cavities I was berated because "micro cavities aren't a thing" as if I invented the term myself and I was told that I actually had three quite large cavities. I had no pain and I've only had one cavity in my life. I asked how much it would cost to get the fillings. They said it would be no less than $5,000. I couldn't believe it. When I balked at this insane price the receptionist said well of course it's expensive and rolled her eyes. I couldn't afford to wipe out my savings on these cavities so I saw two other dentists. Both said my teeth were beautiful and saw no problems at all. Complete scam.

RIPOFF!! I LIVE IN DALLAS NOW AND MY DENTIST WAS IN DISBELIEF AFTER THEY FOUND OUT THAT I WAS NOT REFERRED TO AN ORAL SURGEON BEFORE SPENDING MONEY ON DEEP CLEANING! WHILE THE LADIES AT THIS DENTAL OFFICE ARE NICE, I FEEL LIKE I WAS JUDGED AND WHILE LIVING IN BALTIMORE I GOT A NOT SO NICE LETTER IN THE MAIL BECAUSE I MISSED AN APPOINTMENT DUE TO A CO WORKER CALLING OFF ON ME. THIS MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND I STOPPED GOING TO THIS PLACE. THEY MAY HAVE NOT INTENTIONALLY MADE ME FEEL AWKWARD ON MY VISITS, BUT I BELIEVE THIS PLACE LIKE MANY BUSINESSES ON CHARLES STREET HOLD A BIAS.

While the staff here is very nice, I can't help but feel ripped off as I have spent close to $1500 out of pocket (after insurance) with this dentist in the past 4-5 months on a series of fillings and extra treatments (deep cleanings) that twice have left me in the worst pain of my life. I've been quoted much lower prices for treatments, only for the final bill to come out an extra $75-100 in a couple of instances. For a deep cleaning I was quoted an estimate in the ~$120 range, only to find out on the day of the treatment that I had to pay another $80 for a medicated toothpaste and mouthwash that was a "necessity" with the treatment. Most recently I had a root canal done on a tooth 5 months ago and a permanent crown put on the tooth here about 2-3 weeks after the root canal. After a deep cleaning here I was immediately left in the worst pain of my life, only to find out from my endodontist that my tooth was cracked underneath of the permanent crown which caused a horrible, painful infection and I ended up having the tooth with permanent crown extracted just 4 months after it happened. That's over $1200 spent after insurance on just one tooth, not counting the eventual implant that I will have to get for it. I'm highly disappointed with the work here and seeking another primary provider.
