Dr. Kim is a Los Angeles native with a passion for creating healthy smiles. His love for dentistry was sparked in high school, when he had the opportunity to shadow his dentist for an in-depth research project on his career of choice. After observing his dentists thoughtful artistry and meaningful patient interactions, he immediately knew that caring for smiles was his calling.He earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. Following his graduation, he completed his Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Tucson, AZ. With his extensive educational background and years of experience, Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing the most gentle and personalized dental techniques for his patients. Compassionate, professional, and personable, Dr. Kim finds the most joy in working alongside patients and helping them achieve the smiles theyve always wanted.When hes not caring for patients, Dr. Kim enjoys sharing a good meal with his family and friends, cheering on his favorite Los Angeles sports teams, and cherishing quality time with his wife, Rosemary. Even after work, its not uncommon to find him expanding his skillset and learning the latest methods in dentistry. As a travel enthusiast, Dr. Kim enjoys finding advanced continuing education courses in different states throughout the country. He also loves getting involved in dental mission trips to help others without access to proper dental care. Dr. Daniel Na was born in San Francisco, but grew up in Vancouver, Canada for the majority of his childhood. Dr. Na attended the same university and dental school as Dr. Kim, in fact, the University of the Pacific is where he met Dr. Kim! They have been close friends for over 11 years since their first meeting. Following his dental school education, Dr. Na moved to Oklahoma where he practiced dentistry for several years prior to moving to Southern California. He moved to Orange County to follow his passion of being more involved with his mission trip group called Global Medical Missions Alliance (GMMA).

Dr. Na is an extremely talented clinician and artist with a heart of gold. Dr. Kim was ecstatic to be able to work alongside Dr. Na. Dr. Nas favorite part about working at this office is that there is always someone laughing at any given moment. Patients and the office staff absolutely adore Dr. Nas golden hands and his compassionate demeanor. In his free time, you will find Dr. Na doing crossfit at the gym or shooting beautiful wedding videos and photos.

Dr. Eugene Kim grew up in Cerritos, CA and continues to reside there currently. He completed his dental education at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA, where he graduated with honors.

After graduating, he moved to Las Vegas, NV, where he served patients as a general dentist for four years. He went on to complete an orthodontic internship and residency at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada. There he earned his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, as well as an MBA, and was recognized with the Clinical Excellence Award.

Since moving back to Southern California, Eugene feels grateful to be able to treat patients like family and help them be able to smile bigger, brighter, and more confidently. In his free time, he enjoys staying active, whether going to the gym or out on hikes. He hopes to be able to travel more and discover new cuisines in his future. Dr. Eugene Kim is also Dr. Charles Kims younger brother!

Dr. Peter Refela was born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended the UCLA School of Dentistry for both dental school and his periodontics and implant surgery residency. He is currently very active in the field of periodontics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Periodontology and a member of the California Society of Periodontists, Western Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association.

Brie has traveled all over since her father actively serves in the military, but she considers herself a native to San Luis Obispo, CA. She has been working as one of our patients favorite hygienists since 2018 with Dr. Charles Kim. She attended West Coast University to obtain her Bachelors in Science along with her hygiene degree. She pursued dental hygiene because of her love for caring for patients. Any patient that had the pleasure of meeting Brie for his or her cleaning will say how thorough and wonderful she is. She is very grateful to be part of the team here because of everyones support and encouragement to continue to get better. She enjoys traveling and staying fit by getting involved in all types of exercises indoor or outdoor!

Ashley has recently joined Dr. Kims dental office in January of 2021 as the front desk coordinator. She was born and raised in Montebello, where she still currently resides. She obtained her dental assisting certification from Everest College, and she has been in the dental field for over 8 years now. She goes above and beyond for all the patients especially with insurance verifications and pre-authorizations. She enjoys working at Dr. Kims office because of the caring staff that are patient centered. During her free time, Ashley enjoys watching football and playing billiards. You will be greeted by Ashley when you visit or call our office.

Wendy has been working at this office since 2012 and has been with Dr. Kim when he took over Dr. Nishikawas practice. She completed her Dental Assisting studies from Cerritos College. She started out as a dental assistant, but through her kindness and leadership, she naturally took the role as an office manager. All the patients know and love Wendy as she will be the first to greet you at the office when you arrive. Wendy is adept in patient services and will go the extra mile to ensure that patients maximize their insurance policies ahead of time and answer any questions that they may have. This is in addition to accommodating and accurately scheduling each patient. Her goal is to help patients achieve that perfect and healthy smile without stress or confusion.

Wendy is passionate about ensuring that patients are financially prepared to start treatment and understand the value in completing it. She is the glue to this amazing office, and has become an expert patient advocate. During her free time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and son, Jacob. She is not only a wonderful leader at the office, but she is also an amazing mother.

Olivia has been a Dental Assistant at our office since 2013. Olivia has been a Dental Assistant for many years, and she acquired her RDA license in 2017. She is knowledgeable about many dental procedures including general dentistry, implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. She is truly a multi-tasking star. Patients are always greeted with a smile and put at ease with Olivias friendly demeanor along with her memorable unique laugh. She will also answer any questions you may have about any dental treatment and give you the best post-care instructions as well. Her goal is to create a comfortable dental experience for every patient by treating them like her own family.

Olivia is committed to ensuring that each patient has a stress-free and painless experience with our practice. Her stressful experiences as a child seeing a dentist is what she is committed to never repeating for any of our patients. This personal touch to your experience is what sets Olivia apart. During her free time, Olivia enjoys being active by running and hiking. She is also a mother of 2 handsome boys.

Originally from Los Angeles and raised in the city of Bellflower, Tony started his dental career as a back-office assistant in 2017. Tony has always envisioned himself in the health field, helping people, and dentistry has opened that portal for him. Tony officially joined Dr. Kims dental office in May of 2019. He has been working as an assistant for several years while continuing his studies at Cerritos College to become a Dental Hygienist. All the patients love Tonys honesty, and he is one of the best at putting our patients at ease with his casual conversations and jokes.

During the years of being in the Dental Field, Tony has experience working with general dentists and orthodontists. Tony is currently Dr. Eugenes main orthodontic assistant. When Tony is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his friends, family and girlfriend, Marissa. Tony and his girlfriend recently gave birth to their amazing son.

Hannah has been a Registered Dental Hygienist with the office since 2009. She completed her undergraduate studies in Studio Arts at the University of California, Irvine and then completed her Dental Hygiene studies at Cypress College. Hannah excels at customizing treatment for each patient depending on their specific needs and welcomes each patient as part of our dental family. Her goal is to provide high quality hygiene care and to motivate patients to adopt the best at-home oral hygiene rituals. Hannah is truly a fan favorite and has many patients who have been with her since 2009 that continue to come for their dental cleanings with her.

Hannahs hobbies include exercise, hiking, cooking, trying new foods, learning about other cultures and watching documentaries. Without a doubt, everyone at the office would agree that Hannah is definitely the best cook at the office.
