Dr. Charles I. Emrich has been in private practice in Lexington since 1979, the year he graduated as the president of his class from the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry. Dr. Emrich has seen thousands of patients in his many years of practice and keeps up to date on the latest technologies by attending classes and dental seminars. As an experienced dentist, along with continued education to enhance his skills, he is proud to be able to serve the dental needs of his patients and provide them with a respectful, gentle, and comfortable dental experience.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Emrich's other passions are family, sailing, and martial arts. He is currently a licensed USCG Captain as well as Director and instructor of the Cave Run Youth Sailing Academy in Lexington KY. He enjoys sail club racing and has been a Catalina 22 National Class sailboat racer. Dr. Emrich's home and office are filled with trophies from various national, regional, and local regattas. In addition, his appreciation of the martial arts has continued for over half of his lifetime. He presently practices Tai Chi where this gentle, moving meditation contributes to creating serenity and balance in his life.
Ginger has been working in the dental field since 2002 as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and started working with Dr. Emrich since 2012. She is married and lives in Jabez, KY where she spends time boating, car shows, and being with with her two children, two step children, and grandson.
Diana has been working in the dental field since 2016 after receiving her EDDA certification from the University of Kentucky. She lives in Lexington and enjoys traveling and spending time with her nephews.She has great passion for dentistry and healthy smiles.

Dr Emrich and Ginger fit my husband in on short notice the same day I called and took care of a badly infected tooth before the weekend. They were both kind, funny, supportive, and very informative. Afterwards, Ginger took care of charging our insurance and made checkout a breeze. We made appointments to become regular patients since we haven't had a dentist since before 2020. It's weird to say we're excited to see a dentist, but we are looking forward to our appointments in a couple of weeks!

Dr. Emrich was quick and kind and explained everything he was doing. Other dentists had told me I would need a root canal or extraction, Dr. Emrich was willing to try to save my tooth. His assistants were kind and personable as well, I am looking forward to future visits.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Emrich today and I am confident I have found the dentist for me! Office was nice, clean, and inviting, able to be seen quickly and not have to wait several weeks for an initial appointment. He is truly one of those rare people that wants to educate and inform you, instead of trying to talk you into expensive, unnecessary stuff and rush you out of the chair. Any questions I asked, he answered and treated me with respect and kindness. Not to mention he has a killer sense of humor! Thrilled I decided to give him a shot; Totally happy with my experience and optimistic for once!

Dr. Enrich is the best dentist I have been to. I was in a lot of pain and he met me on a Sunday and took care of me. The office and staff is great so if you need a dentist he is the man.

Very nice and gental, makes sure to get every information about your health to make sure they are taking care of you teeth to the fullest. The dentist makes sure that your experience is good and any fears about the dentist are lessened.
