Dr. Clausen was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry. He has provided gentle dental care to the families of the greater Phoenix area for over 25 years.
I believe continuing education is vital to maintaining successful treatment outcomes. In addition to my national affiliations, I participate in a local comprehensive care study club where we make presentations and share knowledge on complex interdisciplinary dental cases.

Dr. Kimball Morejon is from Arizona. He attended Case Western Reserve Universitys School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded the US Air Force's Health Professions Scholarship Program for outstanding academic performance. Dr. Morejon serves in Air Force reserves one weekend each month at Luke AFB, AZ.
Dr. Morejon's continuing education allows him to stay current with the latest dental technologies and procedures. Gentle Family Dentistry is excited and fortunate to have Dr. Morejon and his world class dental expertise.
Dr. Joseph A. Santoro graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. His passion for surgical dentistry led him to complete a two-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery and a fellowship in oral implantology, both from the prestigious University of Miami. As one of just a handful of fellowship-trained implantologists in the country, Dr. Santoro has dedicated his career to the pursuit of excellence in implant surgery and bone regeneration. His greatest delight is seeing the positive impact his care has on the lives of his patients.
After living in the Chicago area all her life, Christie and her family moved to the Phoenix area in July of 2009. She has extensive knowledge of the Insurance Industry. Being the bridge between patient benefits and Insurance reimbursements, Christie's know-how in this field is important within the practice. During Christie's free time you will find her jogging, riding her bike, or doing her favorite thing, spending time with her family.
Blair relocated from Seattle and joined our team January of 2018. She brings with her over 20+ years of expanded duties dental assistant experience. She enjoys most taking care of patients and helping them achieve a healthy smile.
I have been a dental assistant since 2008. What I love about my position is helping patients smile again by assisting the dr in giving you the best care. In addition, I enjoy baking and spending time with my nephew on movie nights or playing video games in my free time.
I am a recent graduate of a dental assisting school. I enjoy interacting with our patients and helping them feel better about their smiles. On my off times, you will find me shopping, spending time with family, and hanging out with my two french bulldogs, peanut and jelly.
With a full service, state-of-the-art dental facility, our dental team invite our patients to experience high quality dental care. We focus on preventative and restorative care. We will typically see our patients of record for same day for emergency pain relief and dental emergencies.

Dr. Clausen and his staff, especially Blair and Sandra, are all WONDERFUL!!! They made me feel extremely comfortable and well taken care of; and for someone that really does not like to go to the dentist.....this comes with the strongest praises ever!! From the beginning of a root canal to the temporary crown on the same tooth, the experience I had was EXTRAORDINARY!!!! They even checked in with me in the late afternoon to make sure that I was alright......very little pain and comfortable enough to go about my normal routines. I would highly recommend Dr. Clausen and his staff to anyone for their dental care!!

I have seen Dr. Morejon for almost all my visits. Having Sjogrens Dr. Morejon always takes the time to discuss my best options and makes sure I am informed. On my October 18th visit I was introduced to Blair a new dental assistant. By far the best dental assistant I have ever had. Having Sjogrens my mouth get's very dry. Without me asking she kept my mouth moist which made me more comfortable. I would certainly recommend this dental office. John

I've been coming here for over five years now, even while working in a different dental office for two of them. I usually see a different hygienist every time but I've loved them all; the front office staff is also very friendly and helpful. I always see Dr Clausen and although he will some day, I hope he NEVER retires! He's the best. I have also seen Dr Morejon for exams though and he's great too. You really couldn't choose better with this practice.

I definitely recommend Dr. Clausen for any dentist needs. I'm terrified of dentist and have never had a great experience until I found them. Everyone from the front office to the back are fun, friendly and professionally good at what they do.

I had a lot of problems with my previous dentist, my crowns were painful and did not match. I went to Dr. Clausen and now I am free of pain my 3 front crowns look great color and everything. I am so happy my girlfriend referred me to Dr. Clausen. I am now going to set up an appointment for my husband.

Dr. Clausen is very professional, friendly, and always has a wonderful attitude! His staff are always very attentive and they do everything they can to accommodate my needs as well as having a big smile! I had my teeth cleaned up, a crown done and also some issues with my teeth that Dr. Clausen was able to identify promptly. Overall a Wonderful experience!

I went to Gentle Family Dentistry to get a second opinion after a bad experience with a different office. The Hygienist, Holly, determined a problem, and I then had a crown removed and replaced by Dr. Clausen. It all went very smoothly...painless actually. The assistant, Blair, was also very good. A great experience, and I would recommend this office to anyone needing dental work done. Thank you all!

My first visit, and grateful it went well. Scheduling with the front office was very courteous and professional. My hygienist, Jackie, is exemplary. Usually, I'm nervous and she focused on ensuring I was relaxed and comfortable before beginning cleaning. Jackie is thorough and is extremely efficient. Dr Clausen was a breath of fresh air, when it comes to dentists, explained some future work needed in a compassionate way, and allowed me to ask any and all questions, without feeling hurried. One of the best experiences, and it needs to be mentioned their way of taking bitewings is the easiest. Thank you all!

I am definitely afraid of dentists (really afraid) from past experiences but this place was amazing! Blair had to take x-rays which normally cause me intense anxiety and with here I did not even flinch! I read the reviews before I went and it was just as pleasant as they stated. The folks here listen and are not aggressive. The dentist , Charles Clausen was just as kind and very gentle on my teeth! I will continue my dental health journey here for sure.

My husband had a dental emergency they tried to get him in the same day but he couldn't get off work so the next day he was treated the following day the procedure was taken care of. Excellent customer service and personal care,accommodating . I've been going there for several years they always have excellent service
