He believes in educating his patients about their oral health and helping them understand how to be healthier. He has built his practice with an emphasis on dental health and a strong belief in treating others the way he would like to be treated.

Dr. Calhoun was born in Sherman, Texas and then moved to Durant, Oklahoma where he was raised. He received a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry. He enjoys spending time with his four kids, playing tennis, jogging, and going to church. He is a member of Church on The Move.

I went to Dr. Calhoun today for the first time and I'm very happy I chose this practice to take over my dental care. The staff were all extremely nice, it was clean and decorated well, it was comfortable, and Dr. Calhoun was thorough, informative, and personable. My previous dentist was the only other dentist I have had in my life and she passed away and I was dreading seeing anyone else. The moment I walked into this practice, I knew this was the right place for me and my dread turned to peace. They're wonderful.

Dr Calhoun and staff are Very professional, responsive and cordial. Work always done with a gentle touch, yet thorough. Takes time to explain specifics of his exam and observed condition, with advice given for recommended dental hygiene. Has been my dentist for many years.

I recently had my routine preventative dental visit with Dr. Calhoun and Kathy. They were detailed in getting my X-rays and reviewing them with me and performed a careful and deep cleaning of my teeth, allowing me to leave their office very satisfied with their delivery of health care services.
