Charles Beier, DDS - General dentist in Payson, AZ

Dr. Beier, who prefers to be called Charlie, has lived in Payson for 20 years. He and his wife Amy moved to Payson essentially on their honeymoon and have not wavered on their loyalty to this small town. Growing up in northern Wisconsin gave Charlie lots of opportunities to learn to appreciate many different walks of life. After graduating from a large high school, Charlie attended, enjoyed and graduated from Northwestern University. That is where he learned what is like to be a small fish in a very large brilliant pond! With a degree in neurophysiology he moved on to the University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in Dentistry. Charlie seemed to have found his groove. When a certain coed named Amy, studying speech language pathology at the University of Wisconsin, decided to say 'hello ', his future took a significant turn. Charlie and Amy were married soon thereafter and then moved to Payson in 1995 to start their lives together. Having never practiced anywhere else, Charlie started his own practice from scratch in 1997 the same week his first daughter Molly was born. His second daughter Maddy was born 2 years later the same week he and Amy moved into a new house. Never easy! Over the many years, Charlie has been very active in lots of Payson activities. Always a favorite parks and rec soccer coach, the 'Super Dad' of the Pride of Payson Marching Band, and supporter of any academic or cultural advancement of the Payson kids, Charlie has touched many Payson lives. He has always been a champion of the students of Payson contributing both time and money to their needs and causes. Gourmet cooking, hiking with his Labradors, Andy and Brady, playing the piano and driving his 'ladies' crazy take up the majority of his free time. He prides himself on being honest and ethical, while still being realistic.

Susi was born and raised in Southern California, and moved to Payson in 1997. She loves the feel of Payson, although misses being able to stick her toes in the sand! She previously worked for Safeway, working a variety of positions for nine years. She became a patient of Dr. Beier 's in 1997, and fell in love with the office and the 'atmosphere' the employees created. She loved it so much that when she was asked if she was '....looking for a job because they had an opening,' she decided to see what the 'other side' of the dental chair was liked. She loves working with our patients and loves the relationships the office forms with their patients. She considers the office her extended family.

Susi has a set of twins named Emerson and Rebecca, and recently married and added a daughter, Hannah, to her family. She enjoys keeping up with all her kids activities and is very much a hands on parent. She has volunteered at the kids schools for years, as PTO president, site council, events, book fairs and in the classrooms. She has all served the Little League Board, been a Cub Scout leader and is currently still a Girl Scout Leader. In the little spare time she has left, she loves the outdoors...anything from working in the yard, to cleaning horse corrals...as long as there is sunshine!
