We here at Charismatic Smiles provide a wide range of dental services, ranging from advanced prosthetics like fixed crowns, bridge work, removable dentures and partials, dental implant restorations and maxillofacial reconstruction to general dentistry services and dental hygiene.
Dr. Van Morgan is a board certified prosthodontist who has been in practice for over 18 years serving Columbia and the Greater Midlands. He and his team strive to provide patients the latest care in a modern and relaxed environment. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston and earned his DMD degree from MUSC College of Dental Medicine in Charleston. Dr. Morgan earned his specialty degree in Prosthodontics and a Masters in Science from UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, NC.
He currently serves on the SC State Board of Dentistry. In addition, he has been an Adjunct Clinical Professor at UNC School of Dentistry in the Graduate Prosthodontic Program. Dr. Morgan is a member of various dental organizations including the ADA, SCADA and American College of Prosthodontics, and he is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honor Dental Society.
Dr. Morgan and his team work with ENTs, general dentists and other dental specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients. Prosthodontics focuses on four components of treatment, including fixed crown and bridge work, removable dentures and partials, dental implant restorations and maxillofacial reconstruction through dental appliances. In addition to these specific areas of dental care, both dental hygine and general dentistry services are available in the office.

Wonderful office and staff! Everyone was patient, accommodating, and nice. Dr. Morgan explained what he was doing each step of the way (I had to have a crown put in and was slightly nervous) and attempted to make it the least painful for me as possible. His staff, (specifically Shannon who worked with me) was absolutely wonderful! Will definitely be back!

I love this practice. Everyone is always so kind and friendly. They make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. They make great effort to put you at ease. Everyone from the dentist to the assistants to the front desk staff are a pleasure. I can't recommend them enough.

I've been going to Dr Morgan for a number of years and I feel like I'm one of the family each time I go. I have extensive dental problems and Dr Morgan has literally worked miracles. In my opinion he is the best of the best and I would say the same for his staff.

I have never felt more welcomed in an office than at Dr. Morgan's! They are warm, friendly, and accommodating. I enjoyed every single person I came in contact with and was SO relieved to hear that they would work with me at my comfort and ability level with regards to the work I need to have completed. Dr. Morgan is exceptional. He listened to my concerns about my previous dental work and provided me with treatment options that will achieve my goals. He noticed EVERYTHING that was bothering me - every single detail. After hearing his approach to my case, I knew Dr. Morgan was the cream of the crop.
