Dr. Chapmans staff has been a part of his practice for many years, developing trust and optimal care for our patients. This is such a unique quality as you will be comfortable knowing that the same assistants and office staff will be here with warm smiles to greet you each time you visit our office. Our front office staff and treatment coordinators are always available to make sure all of your needs are met. Our assistants are trained and certified to assist Dr. Chapman with your care. All of theChapmanSmilesstaff participate in continuing education.
Orthodontic Assistant I am one of the Orthodontic Assistants at ChapmanSmiles. I have been working with Dr. Chapman and our team since 2012. I have so much fun at work and love seeing so many patients every day. Before I worked with Dr. Chapman I was also a patient, I could see the fun that everyone had every day and I wanted in!
If treatment is indicated, well begin by taking diagnostic pictures, x-rays of your teeth, bite registrations, and impressions. These diagnostics will be referenced throughout your treatment and used to monitor progress. There is a charge for collecting the diagnostics.

I was informally, and unfortunately introduced to G Chapman by my former orthodontist A. Wildman shortly after he had retired. I come from a family of doctors and medical professionals. I was a post graduate student living in both Eugene and Portland at the time, and needed maintenance work on my smile to keep it looking good. G Chapman was in the process of purchasing the Eugene practice from Wildman. I knew Wildman's work and pedigree. Unfortunately I assumed to my detriment, that the caliber of care that I would be receiving would be equal, I was dead wrong! Soon after Chapman began experimenting on my teeth, they began shifting, before I knew it, years of hard work that my former orthodontist had achieved, gone! I now had overlapping front teeth, and a bite that was off. Initially, I was told by G Chapman that it was my fault, then I was told it was my former orthodontist' fault. I received the blame, hubris, unethical upselling, predatory price gouging, and over billing; many of the characteristics others on Yelp and Google experienced. I fell for it once, but when we didn't see any incremental change in my bite, I cut my losses and found a competent orthodontist, who was more concerned with practicing orthodontics, rather than flipping practices! After the dust settled, I began reading others similar stories. Chose your orthodontist carefully, they are not all created equal! It is always good to explore your legal options when encountering fraudulent actors.

We loved Dr. Chapman. His team members were friendly and professional. Our daughter never had a problem wanting to go and see the Chapman staff. She loves her new beautiful smile thanks to Dr Chapman and his staff.

I have just completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Chapman, and I am happy to say that my experience with Dr. Chapman and his team was great for the last year. Everyone there is super friendly and great at their job; I never had any issues with scheduling, and if I did, the rescheduling process was super easy. I'm glad that even during the lockdown restrictions in the past year, Chapman Smiles persisted and continued ensuring quality care. I would recommend anyone looking to get an orthodontic treatment to consider getting consulted here!

First of all I want to thank Dr. Chapman and his whole crew for putting up with me for two years to make sure my smile is perfect and I'm satisfied with it. They work with you until you are 100% satisfied and I liked that. They have several financing options that are pretty affordable. I also took both of my kids there and they gave us family discounts. Their scheduling and rescheduling are pretty fast and onetime. Their office is very clean and they have freshly baked cookies :)

Really great staff and awesome doctor!! I was always super self-conscious about my crooked teeth, but I didn't want to wear braces because I wasn't a teenager anymore and felt as if it would look weird on me. I am a dental hygienist working/living in Vancouver and it was worth the drive to clackamas! I was offered Invisalign, which worked perfect for me because of the cosmetic side of it. I liked that I switched out the trays every week and would only come in about once every 3 months to the office. This office has the best equipment. Not even kidding! I never liked having impressions done on me and turns out that they have a scanner they use to take a "computerized" impression of the teeth! The process was a lot more comfortable for me that way. I would write a whole paragraph about my experience but to sum it up, I would recommend Chapman Smiles to anybody that desires high quality orthodontic care for reasonable costs.

We've taken three out of our four teenagers to Dr. Chapman and team, because the results we've gotten are perfection itself. Sheryl (Gary's right-hand woman) is the absolute best and has treated our whole family like a member of her own. You guys are the best! Thanks for everything you do to make our kids look and feel great!
