I received highly professional, careful attention by all who work here. Their bedside manner is exceptional. Dr Godsey administrated the anasthetic so expertly that I did not feel it- the typically scariest part was a complete breeze. I would not hesitate to anyone needing periodontal work.

I have had a recent complex extraction and implant post placement and bone graft. Dr Godsey is excellent at local anesthetic administration and his dental skills. His staff is excellent as well. I have had ongoing periodontal problems for more than 30 years and have seen Dr Godsey for the past 3 1/2 years since we relocated to Chapel Hill. I highly recommend this office.

Well run office and very knowledgeable staff - weather you see the doctors or any of the dental hygienists.

Two and a half years ago I had my dental operation with Dr. Godsey. It was a laser treatment for a periodontal disease I had. Other clinics told me there is only one treatment for this problem, the one that includes bone implants. However I decided to make some more research and found Dr. Godsey's clinic. His treatment and technology are of the highest standards. He is a gentleman, respectful, patient, and above all a true professional. The operation went smooth, with ever-flowing anesthesia (I'm a redhead), and with fantastic results. No regression after the surgery. In fact, the laser method allowed for healing, with some bone growth over time, covering the treated area. Although this was a (favorably) low-probability outcome - I believe it speaks for itself. I came back for regular checkups for a little more than a year post operation, all included. I am grateful and thankful for this wonderful man, his great team, and the miracles he creates. I strongly recommend Dr. Godsey.

The atmosphere of this practice is one of calm competence. There are excellent protocols in place to protect everyone from COVID. The assistants are very professional and friendly. I trusted their answers to my questions and concerns. They would check with Dr. Godsey if they did not know the answer. Dr Godsey is excellent. He will explain the procedure and any possible complications that might arise. He is also very concerned about the patient's comfort with pain control being very important. He is always available to answer any questions and concerns before and after surgery.

Dr. Godsey and all of his staff are so great!. I've seen many different dentists and this office is by far the most professional and polite. I can't imagine where I would be without the help from Dr. Godsey and everyone else at Chapel Hill Periodontics and Implants.

Dr. Godsey and staff are the most professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming group. I have been a patient for approx. 8 years and would not want to go elsewhere. The service, professionalism, and level of expertise is beyond. I definitely recommend this practice.

I suffer from pretty severe anxiety and medical and especially dental procedures are a huge trigger for me. So I was really worried when I got referred to Dr. Godsey for a consult for a gum graft. At my initial consult, I was surprised by how warm and inviting the office was (I've never been in a dental space I would describe as bright and peaceful). I was so encouraged by how warm and friendly Dr. Godsey and his staff was. Dr. Godsey explained everything very clearly and answered all of my questions. He talked through my options and what would be best for my situation and my anxiety. The staff clearly explained the cost and payment options. During the procedure, everyone made me feel comfortable and even presented me with a "comfort menu" before my surgery to help me feel as relaxed as possible. After the procedure, the entire staff was wonderful - I called multiple times with "silly" follow up questions, and everyone I talked to was kind, patient, and reassuring about my questions related to recovery. I still do not like the dentist and hope that I don't require any more periodontal work, but if I do, I will definitely be visiting Chapel Hill Periodontics & Implants and highly recommend their services to anyone in the Triangle area needed this type of dental work!

Learning that you need a molar implant is not a happy day. Fortunately, I was sent to Dr. Godsey. My experience was superb. I always felt confident that I was getting the best of care and, when it was all done, I actually missed seeing the whole friendly, smiling staff.

Dr. Godsey and his staff are the BEST. Very caring, efficient, and, above all, professional. I actually look forward to my next visit. Dr. Godsey has great chair-side manners, always explaining things in a crystal clear way and being very patient and thorough in addressing questions and concerns. Most importantly, he does things with the utmost professionalism and perfection. My family and I have all been his patients for a variety of procedures, and all of us had only negligible discomfort and had great recovery. All the assistants and hygienist are also just so sweet and thorough and take great care of us (thank you April, Sarah, Hannah, and Megan!! - Yes, had the pleasure to meet all these nice ladies.) Like some other reviewers have mentioned, before all the major procedures they will give you a treatment plan with a very precisely estimated cost. All fees are due when the service is rendered, but they'll help with submitting the claims and handling any insurer's request for additional info/documentation. They also provided me with a very informative pre-estimate before a big procedure, so that I know how much will be covered and how much I need to pay out of pocket. Really appreciated that.

I have known Dr. Godsey and his staff for over 20 years. I surely enjoyed their caring services and their wonderful staff. Going there for teeth cleaning is like going to the spa. So relaxing.
