Dr. Chaos involvement with the Post-Graduate Periodontics Program at the University of Buffalo, SUNY, speaks to the depth of his knowledge and experience in the scientific investigation of gum disease. As a Research Assistant Professor at this university, Dr. Chao is involved in a major study comparing the Pinhole Surgical Technique, his invention, to the standard treatment for gum recession called the Connective Tissue Graft. Dr. Chao will be one of the authors of this new study.

Staff didn't follow up with insurance as promised. When I called more than 2 months later, I was transferred to a rude woman who will ask the first person who picked up the phone to call me back.

This dentist shows disgusting, ugly decayed teeth commercials in Chinese TVs everyday during lunch and dinner hours, make me feel like vomiting. Such a dentist who doesn't have any sense of beauty and ethics, I will never render the look of my teeth to the hands of this man.

I brought my sister for gum seawater and other oral issues a few years back. I had to go to a medical facility to cover her dental work, worst regret because they didn't take care of her as Dr. Chao had. Today I return to dr chao even if we have to pay out of pocket he is worth every Pennie.

I had the pinhole surgery for my receding gums, very pleased with the results. Especially after talking to my brother who had the "old fashion" version surgery which sounded like a nightmare. I continued to see Dr Chao for regular checkups and cleanings, despite his office being quite some drive from my place. He and his staff are great. Maybe if you're looking for a basic economy style dentist he is not ideal. I'm not saying he is HIGH priced; he worked with me on pricing a few times in the past; and he really does not try to oversell procedures like some other dentists. But overall he's great

I had the pinhole surgery done and I am very pleased with the results. The care and detail Dr. Chao and his staff provided was excellent. Dr. Chao took the time to made sure that I prepared my gums for the surgery and made certain the recovery was progressing as expected. I had the graft surgery done before so I had something to compare it to. The recovery was much shorter and results are fantastic! From this experience I feel Dr. Chao has given me the knowledge how to take care of my teeth and gums going forward as well. He is the pinhole gum surgery expert and takes pride in refining his craft.

I have always feared going to the dentist & that has caused big problems with my teeth. I saw an ad welcoming cowards & I called. Dr Chao saved my teeth & my health. He is a caring man & puts you at ease from the first time you meet him. His staff is great also & I no longer fear going to the dentist. Dr Chao is the BEST!! I've known Dr Chao for over ten years and during that time Dr Chao and his staff have exceeded my expectations. I have been fortunate to be a "Pinhole candidate" (a suture-free, scalpel-free procedure invented by Dr Chao.) I would highly recommend Dr Chao as part of a complete dental care program.

Have always had super experiences. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and gentle. Initially I was a big chicken?! Not any longer. Never thought I'd ever say this, but I actually enjoy seeing Dr Chao. Out of five stars,I'd give Dr Chao a SIX!

I was greeted warmly upon entering Dr. Chao's Office, which is very professionally and comfortably furnished. All of Dr. Chao's team, from front office staff, through Dental Hygienist's are extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant to work with. Dr. Chao himself is extremely professional, courteous and skilled and makes a "trip to the dentist" an interesting, comfortable and pleasant experience. On a scale of one through ten, with ten being outstanding, I feel very comfortable giving Dr. Chao and all the members of his team a 10 out of 10.
