Dr. Chaney was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He attended Heidelberg College obtaining a Bachelor of Science in 1981. He continued onto the Ohio State University to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1984. Once completing his residencyat St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio he went on to complete the Oral & Maxillofacial program at The University of Iowa. In 1988 he joined the practice of Oral Surgery Associates with Dr. Walter Maslowski and Dr. John Zink. Dr. Chaney is currently the sole surgeon at Oral Surgery Associates practicing in both Lima, Ohio and Celina, Ohio.Over the years, Dr. Chaney has developed extensive knowledge and expertise in the highly specialized areas of implant surgery and jaw reconstruction. With almost 25 years as a practicing Oral Surgeon in the Lima community he enjoys the partnerships he has developed with Dentists in the area assuring the best treatment is given to each and every patient.
