We have some of the most experienced and well-trained dental health professionals in Vicksburg. We truly work as a caring and skilled team. Many of our staff members have been with us for several years.
Dr. Chaney grew up in Vicksburg, MS. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. Dr. Chaney is married, and their family includes three daughters, Lacey, Logan, and Liza Kate. He is a deacon and a Sunday School teacher, and he and enjoys singing in the choir at First Baptist Church. He serves the Lord by volunteering at a local mission clinic and participating in overseas mission trips. Dr. Chaney enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, hunting, and fishing in his free time, as well as spending time with his family, which now includes six adorable grandchildren.
Ashley has been a registered dental hygienist for Dr. Chaney since 2003. She received her BS in Dental Hygiene in 2001 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Whether she is teaching young children how to brush properly or educating patients with periodontal problems, she is always giving 100% and the patients leave with a better knowledge and ability to keep their teeth for a lifetime. Ashley is married and has one son. When she is able to find free time, Ashley enjoys walking outdoors.
Jenny received her BS in Dental Hygiene in 1995 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. With 25 years of dental hygiene experience of which 15 years here with Chaney Family Dental, Jenny enjoys her role as a Dental Hygienist and her caring personality makes her patients feel at ease when they are in our office. Jenny has two daughters and her favorite pastime is walking outdoors.
Debra has been a part of our team since 2004. She is a Vicksburg native and makes everyone feel welcomed as she greets them at the front desk. Our office keeps running smoothly because of her organizational skills, and since she is extremely knowledgeable about dental insurance, she is able to help our patients find cost-effective means for achieving their necessary dental needs. Debra is widowed, and her hobbies include reading, gardening, and junk shopping.
Tiffany received her BS in Dental Hygiene from the MS Medical Center in 2004. She has been a registered hygienist for over 16 years. She is married and has two sons and a daughter, who keep her busy with their sports activities. Her family belongs to Woodlawn Baptist Church. Tiffany is great amazing with small children, and her beautiful smile makes everyone feel special.
Alicia has been dental assisting for nearly 30 years. She is married to Michael Hedrick, and they have four children between the two of them. Alicia enjoys knitting, reading, baking, and gardening. Our patients love her for her sweet spirit and compassionate concern for others.
Mercedes is a graduate of Hinds Community College dental assisting program. Mercedes joined Dr. Chaneys office in 2019. She enjoys her role as an assistant and makes each patient feel comfortable. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family in her free time.

Dr. Chandler Oldenburg was amazing and came to the rescue after my son chipped his front tooth. She was so compassionate and caring by working him in right away. Her dental skills are top notch and it was great to see him smile again.

I have been visiting Dr. Chaney's office for years and have always had a wonderful experience! Today I was assisted by Dr. Oldenburg the new Associate Dentist! She was very kind, professional, and did great job! She is a wonderful addition to the practice!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chaney for years. They always give the best service and have the friendliest staff. Dr. Chaney's office recently welcomed Dr. Oldenburg and I had my first visit with her today and she did a great job! I'm currently in the process of ClearCorrect to straighten my teeth and had to get the buttons removed today to move on to my final step. She did a quick and flawless job removing them! Not only did she do a great job, but we also shared lots of laughs! I'm beyond happy THAT she's part of the team now.

Not being from Vicksburg and not knowing which dentist to go to was a hard decision. Luckily for me someone recommended Dr Chaney to me and he is who I've gone to ever since. Going there you will get great results in a family Christian atmosphere. I highly recommended him as a great gentle dentist in Vicksburg!!

Outstanding dentist and exemplar staff! Dr. Chaney has been my dentist for about 4 or 5 years. Without a doubt, I recommend him. Service is always prompt and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. The support staff are friendly, helpful and professional. At 60 years old, I decided to get braces and straighten my teeth. Dr Chaney designed a course of treatment using Clear Correct. 18 months later, I am amazed at how straight and even my teeth have become. Wish I had not waited. He has also done regular checkups and a couple of crowns for me and my wife. He's the only dentist I recommend to my friends and employees.
