Dr. Clark Chaney is a native of Kansas City. He grew up in Overland Park and went to Blue Valley Northwest. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2008 and went on to attend the UMKC School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors in 2013. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Chaney prides himself on his gentle and conservative approach to addressing your oral health needs and maintains an ambitious continuing education schedule to provide his patients with state-of-the-art care. Having received advanced training in Invisalign, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants, he works hard to stay at the forefront of advanced dental techniques, materials, and digital technologies. Dr. Chaney strongly believes that great communication and patient education are the foundation for a great experience at our office. Please dont hesitate to ask him as many questions as you want!
Dr. Chaney and his wife, Ciara, were married in 2018 and had their first child, a baby girl in July 2019. They live here in Prairie Village along with their rescue dog, Monty. When not working hard at the office or spending time with his growing family, Dr. Chaney enjoys traveling, renovating his home, woodworking, golfing, and supporting his favorite teams the Chiefs, Royals, and Wildcats.
Shelley grew up in Overland Park and has been providing excellent hygiene care to patients in Prairie Village for more than 40 years. She takes great pride in the trusting friendships she creates with her patients, many of which have been with her since the beginning of her career. Her patients arent just loyal because of how much they enjoy their conversations with her, but also because of how gentle, thorough and informative she is while providing hygiene care. She loves helping her patients understand the importance of having a clean and healthy mouth and how that can positively impact their overall health as well.
Shelley has been married to her husband her high-school sweetheart Glenn for over 40 years. Together they have three grown children, two grandkids, a cat, and a dog. Shelley has a passion for decorating, painting, making jewelry, supporting her grandkids sports and activities.
April was born and raised in Georgia where she started her journey in the dental world as a chairside Dental Assistant in a pediatric dental office over 25 years ago. She transitioned into general dentistry after moving to the Midwest which led her to working in the front office, and for the last 10 years as an Office Manager. April enjoys getting to know each patient and their family and is an absolute guru at helping patients maximize their dental benefits.
April has been married for 18 years to her amazing husband Pat who together love raising their teenage daughter and looking after their rescue dog Ozkar. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, supporting her daughter in volleyball and basketball, and cheering on her Royals, Chiefs, and Jayhawks!
Nicole was born and raised in Salina, KS and received her Dental Hygiene degree from Wichita State in 2003. Since then she has been building amazing relationships with patients right here in Prairie Village. Nicoles patients will eagerly tell you that her chairside manor and gentle approach are second to none and that they truly look forward to catching up with her at each cleaning visit. She works hard to provide an exceptional dental experience at each visit and loves that our patients quickly become more like friends and family.
Nicole and her husband Vestal have been married for over 14 years and together, enjoy the time they get to spend raising their young twins, a boy and a girl. Nicole is passionate about her family and helping the environment, and when shes not busy at home or work she enjoys yoga, reading, and camping.
Christie is a KC native who grew up in Leawood and went to Shawnee Mission East. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2010 with her Bachelors in Fine Arts (ceramics) and went on to attend JCCCs dental hygiene program, graduating in 2014.
To ensure an efficient, quality visit for every patient, Christie works hard to create a comfortable environment educating and responding to individual patients needs and concerns. She loves building relationships with her patients, and cant wait to meet you!
Christie met her husband, Scott, at K-State, and they have been married for nine years. They have two kids, a girl and a boy, and a cat, Echo. She is passionate about fair trade and social justice, and enjoys watercolor painting and lettering, playing the violin and learning piano, organizing, and all things nerdy.backlinkboss.com

The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family. Both assistants- Michaela & Jordan went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything & I was comfortable throughout my procedure. April at the front desk took her time explaining my treatment plan/options & was so patient with me (& all of my questions). I just started Invisalign & the technology is very hi-tech I am actually looking for to my next appointment. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Chaney was very personable & easy to talk to. He actually made me laugh throughout my procedure. No more dental anxiety for me. I cannot thank them enough- I could not recommend them higher! :-)

Dr Chaney and his staff have given my wife and I the easiest, friendliest, most professional & caring dental services, including a same day crown replacement, an extraction, and bone graft with sutures. The Chaney Dental Team is first-rate. I am fairly new to the practice and welcome the up-to-date technology and patient service. Dr. Chaney is updating my dental work incrementally and closely monitoring any changes. Christie is kind, patient and extremely thorough. This is an exceptional Dental office. Dr Chaney is a personable, versatile and skillful Dentist . He is thorough in his examinations and incisive in his inquiries. He provides visual evidence of his recommendations and is willing to explain his work in layman's language. Dr Chaney does make himself available for emergency and afterhours consultation and/or treatment, and does so without any kind of equivocation. The office and auxiliary staff meet the same standard of excellence. April understands the rigors of insurance and makes this a seamless process. She is always pleasant and professional in coordinating timely appointments. Mikaela as the supervisory dental assistant makes preparations for every procedure with attention to order and fastidious cleanliness. She has made the most unpleasant of procedures more tolerable with her cheerful encouragements. Kristy, as a seasoned hygienist, has mastered her trade with a dexterity and professionalism that I have not encountered elsewhere. I am a senior citizen and have been through many Dental offices. This office is exemplary and the only hesitation I have in writing a review is that a surge of new patients may make this level of quality care more of a challenge to maintain. It is good to know there are still good people who want to do a good job. Thank you to Dr. Chaney and staff!

The technology is terrific. For the first time I was able to see pictures (not just x-rays) of my teeth. Very cool. Dr. Chaney took his time and made me feel very confident in his suggestions. And, the hygienist spent almost an hour cleaning my teeth. Friendly people and a terrific, state of the art office. 5 stars for sure!

I am amazed at the modern technology this office uses. Having my teeth cleaned was much less painful with the ultrasonic tool they used. I would encourage anyone to go to this friendly high tech office.

I initially came to this practice to follow my hygienist, Nicole. But I'm so glad I did! Nicole is absolutely amazing. She is personable, takes time to get to know her patients, and always has a smile! And Dr. Chaney is no different. When he took over the practice, he took time to get to know me and my individual situation. He always takes time to ask me how I am and let me share any concerns I have on each visit. I have never felt rushed or as if they are just trying to get done so they can move on to the next. I have recommended this practice to friends looking for a new dentist and will continue to do so!
