Dr. Peterson studied Biology at Arizona State University. He obtained his DMD and Masters in Oral Biology from Temple University School of Dentistry. He also received a full fellowship from the Misch International Implant Institute, and Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is also a proud member of Arizona Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Peridontology.
In his personal life, Dr. Peterson is an Eagle Scout and an active member of his local churchs congregation. His hobbies include outdoor sports such as fishing, gardening, and motorsports. He is a happy husband, and father of four lovely children.

Dr. Hudson Johnston and his staff are the best. When I was a teenager, the botched extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth nearly cost me my life. Almost 50 years later, I would still experience overwhelming anxiety anytime a dentist even mentioned extraction or oral surgery. Dr. Johnston got me past that fear. He is a caring, skilled professional who listens and puts his patients first. In recent years I've developed a condition that has already resulted in multiple extractions, surgeries, and implants and may require more in the future. When that day comes, I'll return to Dr. Johnston to do the work. I consider him a trusted partner in my ongoing dental care.

I went to Chandler Implants & Periodontics for a 2nd opinion. My regular dentist was telling me the crown on my implant needed to be replaced and was going to be $2,700! I've been going to Chandler Perio for years. The staff has always been very friendly and kind. I've been dealing with Debbie the last few times and she has been very professional and the time goes by very quickly in the chair. She is a credit to your office and should be given kudos for a job (or jobs) well done. You are only as good as the people that handle the public in your office and I know that can be a challenge at times. She does it with a smile and kindness. The world needs a little more kindness these days. I'd give you 10 stars if I could.

This office is charging me for a cancellation on my appointment not caring that I was sick with COVID in bed. When they called me they showed no sympathy and still said I was going to be charged for a fee. I would not recommend this office.

Incredibly fantastic experience at Chandler Implants & Periodontics. Dr. Johnston and his staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They were heedful about cleanliness and comfort. The entire procedure was clearly explained as well as what to expect afterwards. Additionally, the insurance process was seamless. Two weeks later when we returned for a follow up, we received the same fantastic service. As we were leaving, we were thanked by name! I highly recommend Chandler Implants & Periodontics

I've been going to chandler periodontal and implants for over 2 years. I discovered their office when my perondist retired in Scottsdale. I've always experienced extreme pain during my cleanings. I dislike all the novacain shots and nitrous makes me very nervous. When they suggested a medication that relaxes me throughout the procedure I was open to trying an alternative. I have to be driven there and back but so worth it! Normally my appointments would take upwards to 2 hours! I'm a tongue thruster, something that all my hygentists have struggled with. Janice is absolutely the best and most patient hygentist I've ever had. Thank you Chandler implants and periodontal. You've made getting my teeth clean an event that I don't have to take the day off for anymore!

I've been a patient at Chandler implants and Periodontics since 2019. I find their overall concern for my dental hygiene home care is very refreshing. The way they explain the importance and overall benefits of healthy gum tissueI motivates me in following their instructions for home health care. Excellent periodontal care provided by Dr. Johnston and hygenist, Janice. All the admin staff are wonderful too, always top-notch customer service. Ive been on a path to improve my gum health, needing surgery a couple years ago and a deep cleaning recently. All very successful...my mouth & gums are in great hands, I highly recommend!
