Caring, compassionate and gentle is the reputation that precedes Dr. Deveshi Chandan, providing you with the best dental care possible. Dr. Chandan rather than rushing through the procedures, is thorough and you know that she is there to serve your needs and listen to you. She works closely with her patients creating a life long dental care plan which encourages daily attention to dental health and promotes healthy teeth and gums. She has a special affinity to children and makes them feel comfortable and interested in receiving dental care. Dr. Chandan is also passionate in serving the aging population with the dental care they deserve making them comfortable and trusting of oral health. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay up to date with the latest in dental procedures and state-of-the-art technology. She believes in preventative dentistry and is highly interested in aesthetic dentistry making your smile beautiful.
Dr. Chandan obtained her Bachelors in Dental surgery from India. She then pursued her DMD from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. During her schooling in Pittsburgh, she was passionate in serving the special needs patient population and was an active volunteer at the MOM (Mission of Mercy). She grew up in Toronto, Canada where she received education from the best schools and was a part of various multicultural community activities and charitable foundations. She is learning Spanish and is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and Punjabi. Outside of work, Dr. Chandan enjoys spending time with her three brothers and parents. She recently got married to her long term fiance and best friend Gaurav Patel. They are a close knit family who enjoy going outdoors- kayaking, canoeing, fishing and camping. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, yoga and watching sports. She is passionate about advancing and supporting dentistry as a whole as a part of the local dental committee- PDA and the ADA.
Dr. Cara Maloney is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and is thrilled to be joining Chandan Dental Associates. During dental school, she spent time serving the special needs population and the community in Pittsburgh whenever she could. She loves making her patients feel comfortable and understood so they can have the best experience possible. She enjoys empowering her patients to understand their oral health and helping them feel confident about their smiles. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys hiking with her family, seeing musicals in the city and cheering on the football team of her alma mater whenever she can

Had my wisdom teeth removed, which for me was scary and daunting. The staff was professional and second to none and the care they took was exceptional. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Dr. Chandan and Michaela!!

Great service! I had a cleaning today and my filling was cracked! I live an hour away and didn't have time to come back anytime soon. Dr Chandan made time for me and fixed my tooth! She made sure I was okay through the entire process and even gave me more numbing agent so I was not in pain! She always compliments how beautiful my teeth are! Dr chandan is wonderful and so is all her new staff! Thank you again for everything. Wonderful experience :-)

Immediately upon walking in I was greeted with good vibes and a palpable chemistry amongst staff. Great service at a fair price. This is the first time I can honestly say I enjoyed myself at the dentist.

Had no idea Dr. Charlton 'sold out' to Ms. Chandon before my appointment. Take aways: My first root canal and as Ms Chandan was drilling, she said, more than once, "Seriously " "Seriously?!?" With no further explanation. Really??? She also commented on how dirty my teeth were several times but, as I found out on my way out the door, there was no appointment available for cleaning until the end of AUGUST. I was there for them to fix my tooth, not berate me as per the cleanliness of my teeth. Temporary filling put in by them. Permanent filling and crown not available until June 1st. NEW DENTIST....will do it May 17 AND HUGE......my tooth was infected. No antibiotics prescribed until I contacted them and asked...."Shouldn't I be on an antibiotic with the infection so close to my brain" THEN they called a prescription in. First question my NEW dentist asked me when I told them about the root canal etc... Did they put you on an antibiotic? My opinion on Dr. Chandon? Avoid her at all cost. She couldn't care less about your well being. "Seriously"? "Seriously"!!!! She said as she was drilling. Really. Are you kidding me? That's something you say to a patient?? Wow
