I assist the doctors with many aspects of patient care. I also discuss treatment options, as well as financial arrangements with patients and parents. I am married with three children and two cats. When we are not watching our children play football, baseball, and softball, we enjoy camping with our family and friends. For some me time, I like to read books and have my nails done in creative designs. Stephen King is my favorite author!

After working for over 20 years as a pediatric dental assistant, I decided to switch specialties. In my previous experience, I gained incredible dental knowledge.However, more importantly it taught me how to care for patients and to make sure that they felt safe, comfortable and to look forward to coming back to the office. I chairside assist the doctors during orthodontic procedures.I love being able to meet and build relationships with our patients. My favorite moments are when patients come through the doors filled with smiles and looking forward to their visit. I feel very lucky to have found a dental home with amazing doctors and an awesome staff.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mark. We like travelling, whether it's exploring a new place, or a spontaneous road trip. We also enjoy renovating our new (old) home. I also enjoy spending time up on Ossipee Lake with out friends and family. I am also a fur mama to our cats, Moe and Pepper.

The entire staff is welcoming & knowledgeable. My family has been going to Dr. Chan & Dr. Chen since 2016 and now in 2022 my youngest needs them and the office has always been in order and meticulously clean. You can tell they take pride in their work and it shows with the results!

Latest update: Our daughter is well into her definitive phrase of her treatment with Dr Chan and Dr Chen. After a detailed and informative explanation of two options of treatment using Invisalign or traditional braces by the doctor, our daughter decided on the traditional braces. As it's always been the case, everything is going well. The doctors continue to inform us the progress and make sure that if we have any questions that they are answered. The assistants and front desk staff are always pleasant and helpful. Our daughter has absolutely been happy about her experience here. This is an update to my review. My daughter just had a retainer follow up today with Dr Chan. She has been in retainer after her first phrase of treatment was completed. As it has always been the case, the visit was so pleasant with friendly frontdesk clerks and helpful assistants. Dr Chan was happy with my daughter's dental status and offered a good amount of encouragement to my daughter to continue the use of her retainer. After a little bit of retainer adjustment, we said goodbye with a new appointment for another retainer check in 6 months. Drs Chan and Chen are the best orthodontists we could find for our daughter. We started our daughter's orthodontic treatment by asking our contacts in the dental field( I am an oral surgeon), consulting a few orthodontists, reviewing website reviews, looking at the prospective orthodontists educational and training backgrounds and the technologies their offices used, and reading up in the dental literature on the issues affecting our daughter and cross-referencing the recommendations from the orthodontists. It wasn't an easy beginning even for me, who had worked with a few orthodontists and knew many people in the dental field. We even made the mistake of starting our daughter's treatment with another orthodontist who was recommended by a dentist friend. Couple months into the treatment we came to the conclusion that he wasn't the right orthodontist for our daughter nor the specific issues she had. After meeting Drs Chen and Chan, we were convinced that they were above and beyond all the others we had been considering. Their combination of professionalism, expert knowledge, great support stuff, convenience, friendliness , appointment availability etc has been just top notch. Now more than a year into her treatment with Drs Chen and Chan, our daughter's orthodontic conditions are being resolved in the expert hands of the doctors and their skillful assistants. I consider our daughter's orthodontic problems being pretty major, including need for skeletal growth modifications. They are being resolved steadily and beautifully. I am so happy with our experience with Drs Chan and Chen that however few referrals I made for patients who needed to see an orthodontist (being an oral surgeon I don't usually refer a patient often; the referral is usually made by the patient's pediatric dentist or general dentist), I tell these patients to see Drs Chen and Chen. My patients usually live around Boston, however I tell them that it is more than worth it to drive the extra distance to see Drs Chen and Chan in Andover.

I love Dr. Chen and Chan . My treatment has been going well so far. they are accommodating and also understanding when it comes to what I wanted to achieve with my teeth. The ladies at the office are super nice and warm (except the front desk girl w/ black hair who is a bit rude). Overall, great place for your brace/Invisalign treatments.
