I was born in Lafayette, Indiana, and grew up in Coppell, Texas. I enjoy being outside, cycling, swimming, and spending time with my husband, James; two sons, Luke and Adam; our new baby daughter, Serene Elizabeth; and our dog, Cooper. I also enjoy teaching my oldest son how to cook.

In my spare time, I love to travel and explore new cultures and cuisine. My favorite family vacation was a trip to Thailand to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and extended family. My family loves to watch the Houston Rockets!

I pledge to deliver the highest quality of care in the safest way possible. I only recommend treatment options that I would feel comfortable providing to my own children. I will consider your childs individual needs and desires when developing a treatment plan.

Hi, Im Sarah! Im a Houston native, and I graduated from Houston Dental Assisting School. After graduation in 2014, I started working at Champions Pediatric Dentistry. I love helping kids face their fears, even when they are nervous; its what I like most about my job! Outside of work, youll find me spending time with my two kids and my dog, Honeybun.

Before we do any treatment, we will explain to your child what to expect. By doing this, your child wont be caught off-guard by anything new. If its your childs first visit, we will help them through the entire process so there arent any surprises!

In addition to telling your child what to expect, we will show them first too! For instance, when your child has a check-up, we will show them any instruments or tools that we are going to use to check their teeth. We will also demonstrate to them the sound an instrument makes before using it during treatment or a regular visit.

After telling and showing your child what to expect, its time for the check-up! When its time for a check-up or treatment, we will be gentle and go the extra mile to make sure your child is comfortable. We want their dental experience to be a great one, so they arent afraid to keep up on their dental health!

We want parents to feel welcome too! Any questions you have can be answered and any dental concerns you have can be discussed with your childs dentist. We want to help navigate you and your child through a successful dental journey and help them build a foundation for the healthiest smile possible as they prepare for permanent teeth! If you are in search of a pediatric dentist in the Spring, TX area, call our office today to get started!

They are SO amazing with handling little ones. I will never take my kids anywhere else. My kids are super comfortable here because they never push them to do things they aren't ready for. They don't want to make your littles ones scared to come back. Amazing staff. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, this is it.

Great experience for both of my kids. Dentist and staff are friendly and nonjudgmental. In and out under a hour without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend this office.

Very friendly and informative staff and a nice open area for visits. Often very closed off doctor offices can make nervous children even more nervous but the facility had a more open feeling. The front desk and scheduling staff were extremely helpful and patient. I called in multiple times to inquire about insurance and cash pay options and they took the time to explain it all to me until I fully understood. I was also very impressed with how soon we were able to get a new patient visit. We will happily return here for our toddler and will recommend it to our friends with toddlers as well.

My family has been coming to this building since it was Wheeler Pediatric Dentistry, and we continued to come when it changed to Champions Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Wheeler is not my cup of tea (poor bedside manner, in my experience), but Dr. Morales was kind, compassionate, caring, and understanding. During Wheeler Pediatric Dentistry this office was very helpful [regarding our family's financial situation], allowing us to have an account so our children's oral health could be tended to. Once it was just Dr. Morales with Champions Pediatric Dentistry we continued our visits and continued to make payments to our account. Each month we paid $500 to cover the costs of the received dental care as fast as we could. This is obviously a huge expense on any household, but we very much appreciated the flexibility and understanding of the office so we diligently paid $500 monthly for ~18 months, never missing a payment or paying late. This fall (2021) we began to struggle and asked it to be adjusted down to $200 a month, just until we can manage to pay more per month again. They obliged, thankfully. I'm not sure when, but at some point the business switched hands to Dr. De Vera. We saw her at our most recent appointments and enjoyed our visits, however when it came time to discuss treatment plans for two of my four children I was told we would have to cover all costs upfront, as our account was over $2000 and that's the limit. Dental work for one child is approaching $1000, but we have two needing work, and one needs sedation ($800 to the anesthesiologist). Essentially $3000 of work needs to be done. Yes, this is a huge number, and yes, we will happily cover all costs as quickly as we can. But having this work done is impossible without the option of adding the expense to our account. We were never told of any limit for an account, and it is definitely news to us because our account with Dr. Wheeler and Dr. Morales began well above that. We have paid it down quite a bit, but at times work needs to be done and that sets us back again. It felt very humiliating to have to tell the front desk scheduler that we cannot afford to cover the cost of this upfront. I had to leave the office knowing my children's teeth need work, and having no idea when they will be able to have it done. It feels pretty devastating. Really though, if we could afford to pay $1000 in a single transaction for the work to be done then we would make our monthly payment higher, or maybe we would not even need an account at all; but seeing as the previous month I had asked to have our payments lowered to $200 a month, it is quite clear that paying in full is truly impossible for us. It is quite frustrating because we have been PERFECT on our end, making our payments (on time every single time), while still taking our kids in for preventive care to ensure their oral health is in as good standing as possible. Regardless of our constant efforts at home two of our children do still need some work done, and it is what it is, we will happily cover all expenses so their health is being cared for - but this all depends on our ability to utilize the account. And despite our perfect payment record and being a loyal CPD patient family, we have been cut off. I understand there will be limits, but why was this never communicated before. If this is a new change in operation we should have been notified when the change was made. We did not need to find out when trying to schedule visits for repairs. You could have done better, and should have. It was an extreme disappointment, coupled with embarrassment. We will no longer come to this office, and perhaps you think "good riddance", but you should also feel ashamed of how you handled our family's situation. Do better.

Very friendly staff everytime. We changed insurances just to come back here! From the receptionist in the front to the insurance specialist, all the dental staff and Dentist I don't have a bad thing to say. My daughter had to have a cavity filled and I was pretty nervous but they made us both feel very comfortable.

Wonderful experience for my 6 year old. Never knew someone will be thrilled going to visit the dentist. But my daughter was delighted, for they made her feel at home and welcomed. Love the place.

As a FTM taking her young toddler to the dentist for the first time, we both were a little nervous! But Champions Peds Dentistry put us at ease right away. Wonderful patient experience from A to Z... easy scheduling, convenient text updates, friendly staff, knowledgeable dentist, touch free payment (aka no digging in your purse while keeping a toddler from running off)... so grateful this clinic is in the area. We will be back

This dentist was suggested by some other moms and we had the BEST experience! I've been to other pediatric dentists who seem to have full waiting rooms, lots of kids being cleaned at the same time, and not taking the time to really care for our family. We felt the exact opposite here. From the receptionist to the hygienists to the doctor, we felt welcomed and taken care of our entire visit. Dr. Morales sat with me for over 10 minutes to chat about life with 3 babies (we have a newborn) and some questions I had with brushing and types of toothpaste. He wasn't in a rush and he was easy to talk to. I'm so glad our family found this office and I'm looking forward to my kids' next cleanings!

I have bring bringing my 4, 6 and 8 year old for about 6 years since it was originally Wheeler Pediatrics. I was nervous when I first started to take my now 8 yo, because he has Autism and the Dentist is very overwhelming for him. The staff is amazing and very gentle and kind and go at his pace. You can sit by your kids as well which is a must for me especially having a special needs child. He needs some time to adjust and will get anxious and upset and they keep their cool and just talk to him. He has had to still sit on my lap and then lay his head in their lap instead of the table and don't force the electric toothbrush. They introduce it to him and give him lots of praise and positive words. Again, they go at his pace and have attempted Xrays, but haven't forced it or anything. We are always in and out so quickly maybe 30 minutes when I take my daughters together. And of course the entire experience is wonderful and so positive for my neurotypical girls and they are all smiles going in and coming out.
