Dr. Candelaria was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from Cibola High School. He earned his Bachelors Degree, double major in Biology and Chemistry, from the University of New Mexico. In 2002 Dr. Candelaria obtained his dental degreefrom Creighton University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school he returned to New Mexico and worked in community health care facilities for several years. Hehas built long lasting relationships with his patients and many have followed him into private practice. Dr. Candelaria believes in creating relationships based off of trust and honesty as well as providing quality care in a comfortable dental environment.
Dr. Candelaria and his wife Sandy have five children;Alyssa, Julianna, Jayson, Dani and Myla. When Dr. Candelaria is not practicing dentistry he enjoys watching soccer and football. He also enjoys playinggolf, softball andany other activities his family is involved in at the time. Dr. Candelaria and his wife enjoy spending time with family and are active in the local sports community.
Lisa graduated from CNM asa Dental Assistant in 2015. At our practice Lisa is the one who welcomes our patients with her beautiful, friendly smile. She is an insurance specialist as well as a great dental assistant. Lisas goal is to ensure that everyone has a smooth and pleasant experience when they visit our office. Lisa makes it her goal to see our patients smiling before they walk out the door. Lisa spends her time off shopping and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Brittany is originally from Vermont, she has lived in New Mexico for 13 years. She attended PIMA 8 yrs. ago where she graduated with honors. One of the things she enjoys most about dentistry is to see how changing a patients smile transforms their lives. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family camping, traveling and riding their ATVs
Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth whitening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Since tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

I have been a patient of Dr. Candalaria for many years and I would not go any where else for my care. His staff is awesome! Front office staff is always glad to see you, they are professional more than any other office I have been to. Dr. Candalaria is very professional and personable. He cares about your dental health and takes the time to explain any problems you may have. In this day and age, you will not find an office that cares as much as Chamisa Hills Family Dental.

Absolutely adore this office! I refer everyone that needs a dentist. The office is gorgeous, the staff is beyond friendly, the RDH is gentle, and the DDS is amazing! Hands down the best office in town!!!

CHAMISA HILL FAMILY DENTAL is a great place to get your dental work done. The staff is very friendly and helpful my wife is in a wheelchair and they make sure she is as comfortable as possible. Doctor Candelaria is one of the most nicest guys you can ever meet. I wish there was more stars to Rate them.
