Cindy is originally from Mexico but grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She attended NC Dental U for dental assisting and reception. She joined our team over 2 years ago and has been helping to put smiles on our patients ever since. Cindy loves to work with kids and always wants patients to feel comfortable at our office.
Meet Ms. Cathy! She is one of the dental assistants in the practice. Cathy has a pleasant and welcoming demeanor and her priorities are patient safety and comfort. She will make sure all questions are answered and patients are at ease before and after their procedure.
Cathy has been in dentistry since 2002. She graduated from Los Altos Hills Community College dental assisting program in California with an associates degree and shortly after earned her BS degree in Health Science from Sacramento State University. Continuing education is very important to her and learning new technology and dental techniques are essential.
Cathy is from the Bay Area, California and moved to North Carolina in 2016. She resides in Johnston County with her husband and three young children. She enjoys eating different cuisines from around the world and in her spare time, she likes to read novels and cook.

My son has pretty bad anxiety surrounding dental work but we had an appointment here today and he said it was totally different than our last dental office. Dr. Challenger is very patient with questions and definitely knows what he is doing.Highly recommend.

This place is awesome! Staff is very friendly and informative. I felt comfortable from the minute I walked in. My Dental Hygienist Mia is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! She takes pride in her work and it shows in how she treats her patients. I wish I could give Dr. Challenger and his entire staff 10 stars!

Came in for a cleaning and was seen by Mia who made my experience wonderful! She was friendly and gentle and made me feel extremely comfortable. The environment was relaxing and the staff was friendly as well. I will definitely be returning!

Went to get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. They were very friendly and patient when explaining everything and made sure I was completely numb before starting the procedure. I've had bad experience with pulling teeth before somewhere else but they were awesome!

I absolutely love the hygienist. She had to do a deep cleaning on me. It was a wonderful experience, no pain. Then I met Dr. Challenger. I was surprised when he asked me if I had any headaches or pains in my neck. He started to check my head my neck and I asked him why he was doing that and he said it's a screening for cancer. This is the first time in all the years which is over 55 and this was the first time a dentist has ever done this.

Best dental experience I've ever had! The entire staff was so nice and sympathetic to my pain. They all helped me work out costs to get my tooth removed, and it was completely painless. I'm very happy! Shout out to Kayla and my dentist for making me so comfortable! I cant remember the names of they ladies up front, but they were great as well! Thank you challenger family dental! (-:
