Dr. Alford was born in Brooklyn, NY, but has resided in Central Florida since 1987. She received her Bachelor's degree in biology from Rollins College followed by her dental degree from the Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
After completing college, Dr. Alford moved back to Central Florida and has been consistently practicing general dentistry for over 10 years. She's a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida District Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Dr. Matt Lasorsa graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon graduation he moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1998, where he completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. During his residency he developed an interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and Oral Surgery (extractions and implant placement) and has since limited his practice to these services. These skills allow us to do more procedures here in the office instead of referring these services elsewhere.

10/26/2022 I only add to my previous review because I can't leave another one.. I am thankfully reminded of this fantastic group of amazing prople every time I look in the mirror to brush my teeth. (twice a day) My smile has been completely restored and now I smile with pride. If you are on the fence about coming here, please don't make the mistake of calling around. You might be passing up a life changing experience. -------------------------- I could go on all day about how great this place is! The people that work here are beyond special. I was going to go with another dentist until I had just one conversation with Tanya. After my examination it was clear that the other place was going to do a bunch of unnecessary major dental work to my teeth without even doing a deep cleaning. From then on it is nothing but a pleasure every appointment. Dr Alford is fast and caring when it comes to major dental work. Teresa has went above and beyond throughout the entire process as well as Tanya. This would not be possible without them!

Jaclyn rocks!! I would give her 10 if I could! She just did the most amazing job of cleaning & polishing my teeth which had tons of plaque & tartar buildup!! She is so gentle & talented even with my super sensitive gums-no pain at all because she never touched a nerve or the edge of my gums! Thanks Jaclyn!!

My hygienist Amarah is excellent. She is very thorough, gentle, knowledgeable and friendly. I liked that she gave me a lot of useful tips. Dr. Alford is excellent, too.

Chain of Lakes is the best. Every member of the staff is so friendly and makes it a pleasant experience everytime I go. Dr. Alford and Dr. Lasorsa are incredibly easy going and take the scary part out of going to the dentist. While I've had many hygienists clean my teeth there, I had Amarah recently and she just did a TERRIFIC job. She's thorough, kind, and patient- also my teeth have never felt cleaner. I thank the entire team for making a relatively unenjoyable experience so much better.

Was scheduled with Amarah for teeth cleaning. Scheduled for 11 and went in at 11. She was pleasant courteous and efficient. Total staff were top-notch. If you're looking for dental work, this is where you should go.

I cannot recommend coming here enough, the entire team is kind and knowledgeable- and they were able to get me in for an emergency appointment! I have had negative dental experiences each time at other places until I came here. Very glad to have found their location and team!
