Our goal as a dental team is to take a patient-centered approach to comprehensive dental care, and our mission is to educate patients in all aspects of oral health and have them take control of the decisions related to their care.
We hope to provide an atmosphere that will make patients feel comfortable, calm, and eager to be engaged in decision making as well as provide the most reliable, trusted, and effective treatments available to meet the patients needs.
Dr. Brian Hivick graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after studying Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Toledo for his undergraduate education. He then continued his studies at Summa Health Systems Akron City Hospital, where he completed a rigorous general practice residency program including training in implant placement and restoration, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. Upon completion of the program, he received top honors as an Outstanding Resident in periodontal therapy and endodontics.
Most recently, Dr. Hivick serves as aResident Clinical Instructor at Summa Health System and caresfor his patients at Chagrin Family Dental Care. He continually furthers his knowledge in dental implants, cosmetic procedures, and the role dentistry plays in treating individuals who suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea. He is Invisalign certified, has taken numerous courses in cosmetic dentistry, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, International Dental Implant Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Hivick brings the very latest techniques that dentistry has to offer and combines them with thoughtful and caring attention to your continued care.
Dr. Hivick is an avid Cleveland sports fan who enjoys outdoor activities, travel, and playing with his chocolate lab. He married his beautiful wife, Ricca, in 2013 and they currently reside in Auburn with their two boys Bennett and Leo.. He is involved with the Heights Dental Study Club and also is involved with the Chagrin Valley Jaycees. He looks forward to increasing his role as an active participant in the greater Chagrin Falls / South Russell Community.
Christine joined our practice in January 2022. Christine graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 1996and continued our education in Dental Hygiene from Lakeland Community College. She is dedicated to exceptional patient care, education, and the support you need to reach optimal oral health and systemic health. I truly enjoy forming real, meaningful relationships to help eliminate any anxiety to ensure you leave with a smile. Outside the office, Christine enjoys making the most of her time with her husband, 2 kids and 'furbabies'. She loves being outside and cheering on our Cleveland teams.
Kim joined our practice in March,2019 as a fill in and part-time hygienist. She is now part of our practice sharing a few days of dental hygiene with our other hygienists. Kim has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and enjoys working with her patients and helping them with good oral hygiene. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, John and her children Zac and Brooke.
Emilee joined our practice in June 2021. She has been a dental hygienist for 20 years and is passionate about helping her patients achieve good oral health. She and her husband Tommy are blessed with 5 amazing sons. She enjoys cooking, baking and vacationing with her family.
Melissa joined the team in September 2016. With over 13 years of experience in the dental field, her certifications not only as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) from the Choffin Career & Technical Center but also as an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) provider from Case Western Reserve University make her exceptionally qualified to work with patients. She truly enjoys making people's smiles great and is so happy to be part of such a comprehensive practice and talented team! In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities and sports with her three children Ava, Logan, and Stella, and her wonderful husband Ryan.
Brittany joined our practice in June, 2020. Brittany has been an EFDA for over 6 years and has been a great asset to our practice. She is certified by the state to be able to place fillings and much more for our patients. She brings a lot of experience and knowledge about dentistry to our patients. In her time away from the office, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband, Eric and sons, Finn and Kasen.
Shannon joined our office in November 2021. She graduated from Choffin School of Dental Assisting in 2014 and is continuing her education at Case Western Reserve. Shannon will graduate in May 2022 as a Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). She lives in Lake Milton with her husband Jess and her 2 cats. Shannon enjoys working with her patients in making their smiles brighter. Outside of the office, she enjoys horses, kayaking and playing board games with friends and family.

I recently chipped my front tooth and made an appointment to see Dr. Hivick. They got me in quickly and then the Dr. and his great staff proceeded to repair the tooth. It was small, but it was done perfectly and the coloring was exactly the same as my tooth. I was very pleased with the whole process. Great work!!!

From the moment I walk in the door, customer service is excellent. Dr Hivick and his staff are very caring professionals. They spend the time to explain procedures and give alternative options for dental care. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. EVER!

I have had several experiences with Dr. Hivick's office. We were patients of the previous dentist and unsure of what we would find when the new guy came in. Most pleasantly surprised, my first visit was a regular cleaning and check-up. The hygienist was thorough and efficient (with just the right amount of small talk.) Dr. Hivick used my existing records as opposed to putting me through the cost and exposure of new X-rays. He quickly agreed that my "out of spec" gums would be fine, as they had for the past 20 years, and didn't try to convince me that more work was required. I find this honesty refreshing. His office worked well with my insurance, and demonstrated flexibility with scheduling. I would recommend him highly to anybody who asks.
