Dr. Chadwell enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Rainey Chadwell, and their son Harrison. Dr. Chadwell loves hiking and traveling with his family along with playing with their two dogs and horses. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, wakeboarding, snowboarding and playing golf.
Dr. Chadwell is very active in Duncan and the surrounding communities and sponsors many local schools, sports teams and youth-related activities. Dr. Chadwell believes that great people make great communities.

Dr. Chadwell received his bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He continued his education and received his orthodontic specialty training at Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
As a clinical coordinator, I have the pleasure of helping each patient achieve their goal of having a beautiful smile. I also love getting to know each patient and hearing about their passions in life.
Whats your favorite thing about your job? I love finding a payment option or arrangement that suits each patient and/or parents budget, and then seeing their beautiful new smile when they complete treatment!
As the office manager, I help ensure that our office has what it needs to not only meet, but exceed expectations. Our goal is to make patients and their families as comfortable as possible, all while receiving excellent customer service. I also assist with our internal and external marketing. Dr. Chadwell feels strongly about supporting the community that supports us, and I help find fun and unique ways we can give back.
Outside the practice my two biggest hobbies are ice hockey and guitar. Im a big fan of our local sports teams and try and support the Swamp Rabbits as much as possible. I also enjoy being able to go see all the great local bands that play in our area.
The best part of my job is being able to be active in our local community. Without the support of our patients and their families, we wouldnt be here. Chadwell Orthodontics proudly works with local animal shelters, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, and many other organizations to keep our area a great place to live.

Absolutely incredible and meticulous orthodontist I have ever been to.! I toured five different orthodontist office in the area and ultimately my family and I chose Dr. Chadwell. I just finished wearing my aligners and it was the best experience. He made sure that I was very happy despite the fact that I consider myself pretty picky. He is a professional and definitely cares about his patients. The staff is just the icing on the cake. They are kind and very easy and very knowledgeable.

Since day one (3years ago) I've always felt welcomed and this place has the most positive people. I just got my braces taken off and my smile is BEAUTIFUL and you can't even tell i have a missing tooth is the front. My kids will be visiting here soon!

Great practice. So attentive and thorough. They give the best advice and do not push for unnecessary treatment. So happy I took my kiddo there for evaluation. Thanks Google;) Also, big thing for me, Dr and staff are very kid friendly!! My 6 yo absolutely loved his visit.

I highly recommend Chadwell Orthodontics! He and his team are top notch professionals who I'm happy to have trusted with my smile. I had a jaw surgery done by Dr. Jim Howell, and they worked together to get the best results. 10/10 would recommend. My smile looks great, and I am very confident when I smile now. I am giving this office 3 stars because it is. Dry clean and beautiful inside the office. However, I waited 45 minutes for an initial consultation because someone decided to stay 2 hours for theirs that ran over into my appointment. Then, when I finally get seen I feel like I am rushed. Dr. Chadwell even asked if he is needed elsewhere during my appointment like he was trying to rush. This was especially unfair because I waited patiently for 45 mins past my appointment. Then on top of it, after we finished he said the quotes would be sent to me the following week- late in the week. May 19th- one week after my consult- I have had no response. I left a message, no returned call and it is now May 25th, almost TWO WEEKS after my initial consult on May 12th. I will be taking my business elsewhere, extremely disappointed because I was referred here.

While receiving orthodontic treatment here everything was wonderful. Easy scheduling, no long waits before your appointment, friendly staff with everyone being proactive and attentive to the need of the patient.I deployed with the Army and had my braces taken off and did not receive treatment for over a year (when I returned the world was hit with covid). While away I was still paying monthly through my HSA account. When I was finally able to get an appointment I only managed to have two rounds of treatment with one being have my braces put back on. I deployed again and upon returning after a year I moved to Charlotte. Now I'm trying to obtain orthodontic treatment else where but Chadwell will not release my file due to an unpaid balance. I would be more than happy to pay the remaining balance however after several attempts I am unable to obtain a ledger showing how charges were assessed on the account. This seems a little fishy given this should be an easily produced document. My braces are literally pushing into my gums at this point causing constant bleeding, most of my brackets are lose and has to be pushed into place, the rubber behind the braces has come out and I can not get assistance anywhere until they release my file. Very sad that they went from a practice I trust to a place I hate.

I have had the absolute best experience here the past two years. Choosing to have my braces here and place myself in their care has been one of the best decisions of my life. I truly cannot thank Dr. Chadwell and his team enough for the work that they've done and the care that they've had. They did such an incredible job keeping me informed and explaining everything to me every step of the way for the last two years. My teeth look better than I could have ever imagined and I am so endlessly grateful. I 1000% recommend!!!

I can't say enough about how great Dr. Chadwell and his entire staff are. As an adult getting braces for the first time I was a little uneasy about the process but Dr. Chadwell explained everything thoroughly and then walked me through each step to make it easy and so worth it. I can be confident in my smile now and owe it all to Dr. Chadwell and his amazing staff.
